Bhai boht galat analysis diye tum. Toss k time hi Rohit bola usko first batting chahiye thi, toh karta achese apni planning execute. Pr planning hoti toh krta na, fix pitch k bharose baitha tha wo. and mumbai, Chepauk, Kolkata ka crowd har haal me continue cheer krta rehta hai, jisse oposite team pr pressure girta hai. Pure worldcup me Gujarat k crowd ko cheer krte nahi dekha.

for India's defeat in WC final.
1) Subhman Gill's catch practice shot
2) Rohit Sharma's 'non restrain' approach to go for another big hit when he already scored 10 runs off 2 balls from Glen Maxwell.
3) An overcautious and defensive partnership between V.K. & K.L.
4) Wrong thinking by SKY to take a single and to give the remaining 4, 5 balls to d tail enders. SKY himself could not hit any shots he is known for.
5) Australia's fielding that saved at least 7, 8 boundaries.
6) Perhaps, Ashwin should have been played (in place of Siraz) being a off spinner to tackle lefty batsman like Travis Head who also stood like a rock in WTC against India.
7) Jadeja, as an all-rounder, could not do anything, either with bat or ball.

Spot on analysis. 👌 N India's below average fielding. Even against new Zealand India's fielding was very poor. But as long as we were winning matches we never paid attention to our weaknesses.

honestly I loved the finals... Because I like cricket as a sport .... Game of stamina tactics, longterm strategies and spirit of war.... Australian played in sync and showed it's a beautiful game..... Reminded me of sweden vs Brazil FIFA final in 1958 , showed the difference between a team strong with strong players and a strong team.

The entire tournament we were playing attacking cricket, & then withdrew into a shell in the most important match in the end, the final!!!🥲🥲The Aussies came in all guns blazing & literally snatched the trophy away from us like a predator attacking it's prey. The Karmic Quota bit gave me some much needed laugh though😂😂😂😂😂

2011 Final was at "35k" capacity Wankhede. So pipe down with the biggest stadium hosting the biggest final. Tha stadium isn't iconic as a Cricketing venue and just holding a lakh people doesn't make it one

Wankhade Is the best ground in the country for Shorter formats and Eden is best for Test matches. Longtime fans will agree on this unanimously.

When we lost the semis in T20 WC 2022 against Eng people were angry, I was furious.
But this time its just pure sadness.
That KL Rahul- Kohli partnership lost us the game. KL went into his shell and never came out. This partnership was 18 overs long and they failed to score boundaries. I understand that the Aussies adjusted their fielders position by few meters and that helped them in stopping boundaries but Indian batters should have adjusted accordingly.
We can't expect the elite crowd who gave 30k per ticket to cheer and make noise for 8 hours ..
The one who stands in queue for 2 days to get a ticket for 500 will definitely put his heart out for 8 hours
I honestly dont think Shami before Siraj was a bad move, Siraj had always been targetted the entire tournament. Moreover, whenever he did get wickets, first, it was always accompanied by Bumrah building pressure from one side ( which didnt happen that day), and second, even when gets wickets, he has been very costly (which luxury we didnt have because of the low score). Its just that both Shami and Bumrah were struggling that day. It was planned tactic, which if it had worked people would have called this the greatest move of the tournament, and since it didnt we are blaming it. They only way to get a grip on that match was to get early wickets and that was the plan, unfortunately even after we got them, our spinners couldnt get any wickets and that was because of less runs on the board. So they easily played them out and set themselves on the crease, they didnt have to take risks. Batting was the real problem, why is everyone blaming Rohit for playing the way he did the entire tournament? While he was batting we were in the exact same stage in which we were for the entire tournament. That was his role, Kohli was still on the crease, it was the last over of the powerplay, he wanted to make it big. But after that, Iyer got out for nothing. Kohli and KL started building an innings, but they were extremely slow. They kept bowling slow bouncers and they had no answer for that. They let the bowlers dominate them, even th 6th and 7th bowler. No one tried to put pressure on the bowler. They took 29 overs got set and got out. If the pitch was that tough to bat on, what could you expect from players who just came the crease like Jaddu or Surya. I can understand there was pressure of a final, and quick wickets, playing that slow and scared, i dont think was acceptable if you didnt convert it into a bigger score.
Haven’t read your entire comment. But only on the first point about Shami, the only reason of it being a bad move was he has always bowled with slightly older ball because he was able to swing it still whereas with a new ball it was difficult for him to control because he could swing it a lot which he wasn’t doing in the entire World Cup.
Siraj should have been given 1-2 overs atleast, he's the best with the new ball.
And Shami should have been brought after 5-6 overs, as usual, every bowler works best with a different state of the ball, last minute changes like this only weaken the already under pressure team's morale.
I kinda agree, I feel, bringing in shami early wasn't a mistake, he did take wickets but I feel giving the ball to spinners too early (maybe cause of dew) was a bad move cause our seamers were giving a tough time to aussies, with a aggressive field set up we would have maybe converted it....
A stadium with a capacity to hold 1.3L people should have a pitch which is rather batting friendly. As Indians we'll always be more excited to see our batsmen hitting boundaries. Plus on the day that mattered, everyone (management, players etc.) played on the opponents weaknesses than our strengths and Australia chose to come out with no weaknesses!
We love these guys to death, but over excitement took over everyone (including us as fans).
The main reason why we lost is we didn’t show any intent between overs 10-50 of our batting and bowling. Even during bowling when we got their 3 wickets our field was spread out, with not even one catcher. We knew that we can’t defend this score by just saving runs.. our field placement should have been more aggressive. There was a risk that match could get over by 35th over.. but that risk was worth taking

Thank you for your unbiased and neutral view on Ahmedabad stadium. I am local and went there to cheer for the team as well. Also, with all due respect to other people's view I would like to say the crowd was constantly cheering the team. I'm not saying anything on the technicalities of the pitch but here to defend the crowd. There was not even a single moment where the crowd boo-ed our team. Those who paid ₹ 2500 or 2 lacs, everyone at the stadium was cheering the men in blue.
Even at Aus' 150 run people at the stadium were hopeful. But after their 180/190 runs some started leaving the stadium ( because it was then obvious Australia was winning) with the only reason that it gets crowded and difficult to get out / take out parked vehicles / metro gets crowded/ not able to find cabs / auto.
Whatever happened no one would have expected that and we still stand by the team. 🇮🇳

IMO, the move which backfired - we introduced Spinners fearing the dew, Seamers were actually troubling the Aussies. Worst came when they were scoring 4-5 singles in every over. Rohit was really trying hard, didn't work but much love to this team - very proud of their efforts.
We are the ones who made them soo over the top. They are just playing a sport which is so overhyped by us only. Instead we must SUPPORT OTHER SPORTS, our INDIAN FOOTBALL TEAM is doin so well, other sports in Olympics. So its about shifting our support and cheering for the other sports.
When I started with this video....I was hoping for a detailed analysis like a situation to situation analysis about what all things went wrong in this particular match...coz no one literally on internet have addressed the very low fielding dedication of players spcly some. Even if the pitch was prepared the way it was prepared, the Ind team read the conditions wrong.
Rohit played the way he played the whole tournament, the shot selection was bad on that ball but how was he supposed to know that the rest of the 3-4 in form batsmen won't have any impact at all?
The game ended at the end of the first innings cause counting the dew factor, we were short 70-80 runs. The early wickets we got were not the best way either.
And then the spinners did nothing, no fight from them, or siraj.

You are right hum bohot defensive ho ge jab 1st 3 wickets gir gai. We went into the shell and on the top of that they built pressure by absolute beautiful fielding. They deserve to win the final. Hum bohot pressure me gaye the similar happened with NZ in semifinal par hamare pass 400 runs ka backup tha so we didn't loose. Par final me sirf jaise taise 240 banaye. No doubt rohit is great captain but at such crunch moments he needs to be calm as dhoni and decide counterattacks.
1). Crunch MOMENTS (not 'movements')
2). HE NEEDS TO BE CALM (not 'he need to calm')
3). AND DECIDE COUNTERATTACKS (not 'have decided counterattacks')
