Learning Russian is not easy, that's why we created the Russian Level 1 channel. It's full of study resources created for beginner students of the Russian language. All Russian words and phrases in our lessons are translated into English and transliterated into Latin characters. They are repeated two to three times in both slow and fast Russian so that you can clearly hear the correct pronunciation. You'll be able to learn Russian with Russian Level 1 even if you're a complete beginner!
Our lessons cover useful Russian phrases for absolute beginners, most common Russian words with examples, Russian sentences used in daily life, basic Russian vocabulary with pictures, phrases you need for daily conversations in Russian, useful expressions in Russian, easy phrases that every Russian beginner must know, conversational Russian phrases, and so much more! You will also get lots of opportunities to practice your Russian speaking and listening skills with our unique lessons.
Wow! Ideal to put this on in the background whilst doing the housework! Thank you! 🙂
Enjoy! 😀
I have been doing the same thing - listening while I cook and clean in the kitchen (that's where my computer is). And I find that listening to the Russian (without looking at the words) and then getting the translation is giving me a big boost. After all, we learned English from hearing our parents speak it and we learned to understand English and to speak it before we learned to read. Later on, as I have time to sit, I'll listen while looking at the words.
ThePubliusHuldah, yes, you are correct. We learn to speak before learning to read. I like to listen whilst I'm busy with chores or with projects.
Later on I watch the video lessons and I write them by hand in journals. I recall much better if I write by hand, rather than typed.
The videos are terrific for reading practice as well.
This channel has top quality content! The more you use it, the more you will improve!
Wishing you all the best for your studies!
@@lilyrose4191 If you have a smart TV, then it's worth getting the Russia TV app { 69 pence per month }...There are 6 channels and I have it on in the background just to get used to listening to the language. I also bought a Russian keyboard and print out about 8 words on A4 large print and put them on the wall, so I keep looking up and reading them. Greetings 🙋🏻♂
thank you! I will do the same - handwrite the words @@lilyrose4191
Wonderful. Спасибо. Would love it even more if the phrase was repeated in Russian a second time after it is said in English.
Thanks for the feedback! Many people suggested the same. I will implement this in the future videos
Отлично. Спасибо 🙏🏻привет из Англии🙋🏻♂
Не за что!

Thanks for watching, Jesse!
Спасибо большое
Не за что!
❤ Thank you. Very useful. You have been busy 🎉
Glad it was helpful. Yeah I´ll be posting more often in December, yay!
I will love you forever 💗💗💗 I slow the speed down to 75 % and this helps SO MUCH with my pronunciation and listening skills. I can't understand Russian when spoken at normal speed or even what you consider "slow" speech! But putting this video at 75% speed is perfect!
Happy to help!
How do you do that? Putting it at 75 %?
put your cursor on the video and then click on the little wheel at the bottom right. That's for "settings" and it allows you to adjust the speed! @@philisiwenojoko9714
good but should repeat sentences 2 or 3 times
1:15:37 Gracias no tengo mucho ingles pero lo entiendo todo perfectamente hablo español y ese me favorwce mucho en la similitud de las palabras y te has ganado un 100 x 100 mucho agradecimiento.

Hola, José! Soy ruso y estoy aparendiendo español! ¡Muchas palabras son realmente sorprendentemente similares! Especialmente aquellas que terminan en -ción. Se aplica a español, inglés y ruso.
