In an effort to keep pace with the Suzuki's new Hayabusa, Kawasaki engineers have tweaked the '08 ZX-14 to produce more power while meeting stringent Euro 3 emissions standards. According to Kawasaki, the whole goal of the mid-cycle refreshing was to enhance the bottom end. - Авто та транспорт

I just got a zx14r 2022 and the bike is beast. No needs for mods
I have a Blue '07, I love it, You can keep the Hayabusa, I'm 6'8 282lbs, comfortable, can't beat it
I'm 6'6" and 280lbs. The bike feel nice.
You might be surprised. I have the 07' ZX-14 SE (fly's out, w/PCIII) In comparison to the liter bikes, the ZX-14 is extremely comfortable for long rides, and handles better than you would think. I've ridden the 08' ZX-10R which handles way better, but just doesn't have much comfort for street riding.
In a nutshell the ZX-14 is a great street or drag bike.
The Liter bikes and 600's are great track bikes.
They are all fun, nomatter what you ride, enjoy yourself and be safe. :-)

I understand that the lowers will touch before the OEM pegs will. I think I'll put longer "feelers" on mine.

They werent making the visors as sun proof as nowdays i guess😅😂
saying about comfort and so on, recently at a bikeshow i got to a feel around pretty much any bike you could think of, and this bike really isnt as big as it looks, no bigger than my old zzr600 was, just feels more natural than the sportsbikes
well, guys i've owned both, and rode the snot out of them both and for me it's the zx14 hands down, the power is so smooth that it begs you to run it balls out, although the busa is a sexy bike, touring is out of the question, i'm 6'1" 290 lbs, both are awsome above 100mph but the 14 handles better at high speeds, the busa is more subject to wind resistance on the rider, at 160 mph on the 14 you still check your mirrors, try that on a busa & the wind will crack you neck. zx14 all day !!!

had a zx 7r back in the early 90's
Can someone please tell me what kind of tires to put on this motorcycle? Should I go with a sport touring tire like Pirelli Angel GT or should I aim for a super sports tire like Bridgestone S21 or Avon 3D Ultra Sport?
Hey man I know your post is 6 months old but I thought I would tell you I put Pirelli angel GTs on mine, they didn't wear good, kind of irregular. Put Michelin road 5 on and they are wearing and riding better. Don't slip when I really get down on it. Try different ones though, Don't take my word, I'm no expert.
Think kawasaki should've held out on the 14r. I mean this 14 was already more powerful than the busa. This 14 and the 2011 zx10 is all out busa killer. Kawasaki forever
Nice to see some guys with the height and weight and still love this bike. I own a 07 custom fatboy and i'm just tired of it. This bike has caught my eye and wondering if this bike is the answer?
I have owned both, they tick different boxes, nice to have both if you have the cash. Harley for the grin, Kawasaki for the warp speed.

that thing is really fast but if you love taking corners like i do you may enjoy the 600's or litre bikes instead of the biggest bikes

Ah yes...The Zx14 is the real king...The feel-The handling The rider position and power. Of course looks too. Much better than the Busa's Hunch back Spastic Sperm look. Or perhaps more like a kids toy left in the sun too long and it's started to melt.

It's funny how everyone with a ZX-14 keeps talking about the Busa but the people with Busa's don't give a shit about the ZX-14. LIke, if i go to a Hayabusa Vid there would be comments from ZX-14 riders taking the piss out of the Busa, and when i go on a ZX-14 vid you'll still taking the piss. I don't see Busa owners doing the same on either vid. Gosh your so threaten by this bike you have to mention it everywhere, even when it's irrelevent.
