- Watch the extended race highlights of the 2023 6 Hours of Monza, round 5 of the FIA World Endurance Championship held on July 9.
The FIA World Endurance Championship is the world’s premier international sportscar championship, contested over seven rounds across North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. With multiple cars across three categories (Hypercar, LMP2 and LMGTE Am) all on track at the same time, the WEC is a sports car extravaganza that offers action, overtakes, excitement and entertainment for fans worldwide. - Спорт
We need the 52 minutes highlights to return, because not everyone has time to see the full race live or the full race replay.

@@nidhishg1622 you wrong, full access is another stuff. The 52 minutes review/highlights are still produced (i can see them on Eurosport) but for unknown reason they are no more published on UA-cam since che Sebring round
I'm so happy to see Peugeot being competitive
Happy to see them on the podium. It's a shame the reliability is still not there. They actually had the pace to fight for the win there.
But better than Porsche
Well, it is more like that the organizers and their BoP decide which team / manufacturer is competitive. It is no longer about who designes the best cars.
@@kevinprengemann7456BoP is there to equalize the field and its different on each race track because we all know some cars are designed for top speed or cornering, anyways still better than F1 and the shitshow they have going on

@@OTM-BandiT yeah also alpine last year had an lmp2 gibson v8 na engine and it was the loudest car, alpine hypercar (ex rebellion lmp1) and Corvette
When Vanwall was flying by and i was close to the track my ears were shaking lol, not with Cadillac
It was LOUD but not ears killer
This is more exciting than F1, with great overtakes, and excellent team tactics. WEC is amazing.

@@Retheraq I do, but every week is the same thing, so I started watching WEC with SPA, and now I love it.
@@Retheraq I recently got into F1 again (I hadn't watched it since like 2016) and, while it's cool and all, it's kinda predictable at this point, but WEC is quite interesting because of watching the different manufacturers and teams fight in actually more equal cars (not like F1) with unique characteristics like engine layouts and engines, as well as the difference in 1-2 hour races and 6+ hour races and how that affects strategies.
WEC is way better than f1 . It's really underrated

Nah, Group C era was the best. These modern day races feel quite artificial in comparison because of the BoP.
Thank you, extended highlights like this are needed for endurance racing. Ideally 30 minutes.
I believe Corvette Racing did something never done in WEC. Clinch a class title with races left in the season.

You can't give drivers trophies early because of how the points work.

@@davidaugustofc2574 if a driver misses a race or doesn't complete the minimum drive time, you won't receive points but the other drivers will.
@@GeneralCodeBlue winning the championship with races to spare means it doesn't matter, XD, it's self explanatory. It happens when it's mathematically impossible for anyone to overtake 1st place on the amount of points till the end of the season.
If A1 has, let's say 200 points, second place (B2) has 150, there's 4 races to go and the most points you can win on a single race is 10, that means that the most points you can get in 4 races is 40, and the minimum is 0. The championship would still go to A1 if A1 did nothing and B2 won everything they could.
Believe it or not this situation happens all the time, usually the last teams become out of contention much sooner, sometimes everybody does.

Glickenhaus much more competitive, very fun to see. Great GTE AM fight for the lead, and lots more overtakes in hypercar. Well done monza

@@AbrahamArthemius I agree. The engine is reliable only at Sebring they DNF other than that no issue at all and survive 24 hour that can tell the engine is very good

WEC noob here, some questions you can maybe answer:
- why Ferrari's crew in the last pit stop waited so long to start changing tyres?
- the commentary quite highlights the fact that Ferrari put on medium tyres, during that pit stop. Why? And how did they see it?

They were still fueling the car. You are not allowed to do any other work while fueling is happening. Mainly because the wheel guns can produce big sparks, and fuel (in the event of a leak)+sparks=bad time.
The Ferrari is badass but so is that Peugeot. Love that wingless design

So heartbroken for the #31, they were having such a strong race (which we can't really see in those highlights)
Toyota took revenge on Ferrari at the very first corner.
the federation made the Ferrari heavier and less powerful for this race.

This is my second race after le mans and i am enjoying it alot better than f1 though i am a great fan of f1 but it is becoming boring when a team dominates while here endurance races are joyful i like it
