Carnival Village Trinidad 2024 - Anything Different?

- The Carnival Village in the Queen's Park Savannah. Port of Spain Trinidad, a place of varied entertainment, local products and local food is definitely one of the places to visit in Trinidad. Erected each year during the Carnival season in Trinidad and Tobago, the Carnival Village opens nightly at 7pm and operates until the Friday before Carnival Monday. In 2023 we visited the Carnival Village (video link below) and we visit again in 2024 to see if the Carnival Village is different this year.

I could never understand the logic . Of some Trinbagonians. Not wanting their products recorded. It’s free advertising. Some is still stuck in the past. In other countries. They welcome free advertising. A lil backwards if u ask me. I enjoy all ur videos. You never disappoint!
The gentleman said to me that it has been his experience that people photograph his work and then exploit him. I do not know how that occurs but I have to take him at his word and that is why last year and this year I did not do any close up of his work which to me appears to be of a very high quality. I am glad you enjoy the videos.
I would have been glad for the exposure if I was him. It could actually promote sales.

Correct, about the same. It is however worth going for the shows. The two nights I have been were good.

Where were the tourists? Next video, try and avoid arguing with vendors or edit it out if necessary, but lovely initiative and presentation.
I did not see any tourists although I heard of plans to open on days when there are cruise ships. Thank you for the comments.
