    • @ZacharyFinch

      Dude the fact that this video popped up in my recommended is literally proof that my phone listens to my conversations while it’s locked, analyzes them, and then sends the collected data to UA-cam.
      I say this because earlier this evening, after a painfully awkward and long pause in a dinner conversation, and after my social anxiety built up to a critical level, I tried to fill the silence with a stupid comment about how I wonder how nutritional onions are. I was desperate for something to talk about, so I just tried to comment on whatever I happened to be looking at, which happened to be a slice of onion on my plate.
      I would never voice such a random question in any context other than in a desperate attempt to revive a dreadfully dull conversation. I literally never talk about onions. I don’t watch onion-related videos. I don’t really watch cooking content in general.
      The fact that this video is inexplicably in my recommended can’t be a coincidence. It’s a product of the UA-cam algorithm. I can conceive of no other excuse for why it was in my recommended, aside from the only rational explanation: my phone was listening to my dinner conversation a couple hours ago, so now it’s showing me how to make a nutritional, onion-based breakfast.

After consuming two servings of this delicious cheesy onion dish, I was able to sprint at speeds up to 120km/h, and I managed to stop a bus with my bare hands before it impacted an elderly couple crossing the street.

    I summarized the recipe for myself, so I thought I'd post it here if anybody else wanted to try it.
    1. add finely dices - carrot, green pepper, apple and purple onion into bowl
    (before dicing the onion cut it into quarters and soak them in a bowl of water with a spoon of salt for 5 minutes to prevent tears while dicing)
    2. cut another onion into 1cm thick onion rings
    3. in another bowl mix 4 eggs and pour into veggies mix
    4. add a spoon of salt, a little black pepper, 1 spoon of soy sauce. mix well, until all the ingredients are coated evenly.
    5. add 1 spoon of flour, and a spoon of potato starch, then stir until the powder is completely absorbed.
    6. use brush to evenly spread some oil on a frying pan (use a pan that has a top)
    7. add the onion rings (you can use two pans if there is not enough room)
    8. slowly pour the batter into each onion ring (careful not to overflow)
    9. sprinkle some cooked sesame seeds on top for garnish
    10. cover pan with top for about 3 minutes
    11. flip the batter filled onions to fry the other end for and additional 3 minutes until both sides are golden brown.

    • @imahappycamper2022
      @imahappycamper2022 2 роки тому +30

      You don't have to use water with an onion to stop the tears, also you don't quarter an onion if you want to dice it as you have to leave the root in tact. This will also stop the tears, but an old chefs trick is to breath through your mouth and out your nose, our nasel passage is connected to our eyes. Also avoid using Spanish onions as they're much stronger and make you cry easier etc for some reason.

      what soy sauce she's using? is it sweet soy sauce? I'm a little confused about soy sauce. in general what soy sauce do people usually use when they make cooking videos and says they use soy sauce?

    • @imahappycamper2022
      @imahappycamper2022 2 роки тому +21

      @@syaredzaashrafi1101 Well I'd imagine if they tell you to soy sauce, then it's just plain soy sauce that you use, if it's meant to be a particular type I'd imagine they'd state that. Although things like is usually down to your own preference as it won't make a difference which one you use.

    At first I misunderstood the title and clicked on the video immediately. I thought the onion and eggs would stop my constant state of being tired. However, what the title actually meant is: "you will not get tired of this recipe". For a few moments I was deeply saddened by this, as I realise I will probably never try out this recipe. Yet, I have still gained something from watching this video. The calming music, soft food ASMR and her gentle voice gave me a piece of calmness in my life. Yes, I do need to study for my exam, yes, I am very tired, yes, I am overstressing about the things that may not even be that important in the great scheme of things. I need to calm down.
