That new exhaust sounds much, much worse than the beautifully tuned sound GM puts on with the OEM system! This is one of the worse so called upgrades yet! ... Just gotta tell the truth.
I’m glad GM went flat plane but they really screwed up the firing order. I understand the engineers not wanting too much Ferrari sound extruding from a Vette but they screwed the pooch by forcing a flat plane V8 to sound as much like a cross plane as possible. The result is that of a muffled moped in my opinion. Sounds like trash. Either change the firing order and make it sound like a flat plane V8 or put the cross plane back in the Z06.
I don’t know I’m not sold on the C8Z as of yet. Will it grow on me? Who knows. I guess I’m old because I feel American thoroughbreds should sound like American cars. Even Ford stayed with the American sound with their flat plane 5.2. GM has gone so far over the pond with the Z that it hurts my heart.

I disagree. I think it sounds way better. Sounds like an actual “super car”
I think it's a waste of money putting an aftermarket exhaust on the c8 z06 or gt500. They sound so good from the factory
omg it sound really really bad , i hear paragon , awe fabspeed .... and this one is the worse one , please stick with OEM or not this valvetronic

This is one of the worst sounding exhaust I’ve heard on the C8Z to date. although it does sound pretty good at full speed.

The car is greatly improved over previous generations.
