For me this album has serious 90's metallica vibes mixed with death magnetic. And i honestly love it.
That song definitely looks super fun to play, man, still such a banger song
Time to get yer downpick on!
@@Chainbrain Hell yeah
Definitely one of the highlights of the album
@@GeraltOfLibya For me, the whole damn album is a highlight!
It's because it is super fun to play
I was so excited for this upload and it did not disappoint
Can't wait to slam out the rest of them as they are tabbed / charted!
"this riff is definitely more fun to play than it is to hear" ... Makes perfect sense! I have liked and disliked songs when i started playing the riffs on my own
yeah hearing vs playing always brings a new perspective to songs
Same, One I distinctly rememeber is Fever by Bullet for My Valentine. Wasn't a massive fan of it just listening, but playing it is so fun
To add onto this, both with 72 Seasons and If Darkness had a Son, I didn't like either of those songs at all until I learned it on guitar. After which, I had a whole new lense of the songs and actually kinda like them now
@@hjonkhjonkamgoose no i liked them both since the first hearing especially darkness. This happened to me with Lux. At first i was like meh and when i started jamming on guitar was very fun song to play
That's the thing about learning songs, with time they lose that initial impact they had before you learned it.
Definitely save songs for listening purposes only, mainly just for the sake of the song itself really.
Even the bass is so much fun to play on this song!
Looks pretty fun to play. The music video they released for it is pretty cool too. They got the same guy who did the Room of Mirrors video, which is my favorite from the album
In the theater, they had a warped video during the song that took me out. I had to close my eyes so I could focus on the music but it still wasn't my favorite on the first listen. Listening and watching the lyric video and then the official music video a bit later was enough to solidify its place as one of the best on this record! I love the breakdown section so much. 🤘
This album is an absolute banger!!!!!
Loving chasing light
Dude you are a seriously good guitar player. I hope I can reach that level one day
my favorite of the new album was waiting like crazy for a rocksmith version haha
it's up there! Nacholede finished this one last night! Looking forward to playing more
Holier then thou intro brooo
never knew karim benzema down picks this hard

@@Chainbrain perfect right when I get home from work (I work nightshift)
You sir are so good, and Metallica too…
Sir how do you concentrate with I’m guessing at least three screens you have to pay attention to? Definitely a legend sir Chainbrain.
my eyes moved independently of each other like a lizard
@@Chainbrainlike pennywise lol
If their songs keep improving like this in the end we'll get major banger
dude what are you talking about that song sounds like it was written by a highschool metallica tribute band :D
room of mirrors react when? I missed the stream sadEg
Chain told me to comment
NA NA NA NA BATMANN
Feels like Kirk forgets how the fretboard works so he only sticks to one position.
Fun song none the less.
i mean the solo is like d tier but the rest of the song is solid s+ tier
First to say second
you lose!
Mata Laca
YOU SAY MATA I SAY LACA
@@Chainbrain MATA
This album is so hit and miss. I've heard most of it and half is bad to average and half is awesome.
Agreed honestly for me it's solos and structure of songs man. Sounds like some riff soup. But the sings are really growing on me. And that tone 😤🤘
I prefer st anger to this album lol. Probably not a popular view
Not popular, but also insane opinion 😂
That’s just stupid
hey, don't be mean
@@Chainbrain sorry😁
@@Chainbrain St. Anger actually had an attempt at trying something new.
Looked at the song timer and just knew this was yet another Metallica song playing basically the same riff for 2 minutes before something underwhelming happens.
i just realized I hate songs because drums is too loud. now that guitars are clearer I enjoy it🤦 drums is way too loud on the album.
your intro is wrong.
Your technique is so poor!
