Remember watching him in high school wishing he’d pick SLU. I didn’t realized he visited them. Highly talented but was a victim of playing with a poorly run organization. So glad to see his success beyond the court.
Knuckleheads my favorite bball podcast and listening to Darius talk hoops it’s amazing to me I don’t see him on a lot of other bball content, bruh basketball mind crazy💯💯
DM, is a real class act. Followed him in high school and on to the pros. Thanks for all the gems on life and about hoops. I had a brother that played at SLU ( Kelvin Henderson ) that got drafted to Portland but ultimately ended up over seas. I was proud ( from the STL side ) when D made the jump from high school to the NBA. Stay up brother, and remain humble. Peace Be Yours
He was different!!! In the 9th grade in that Pro am! We played Anthony Bonner, Jahidi White, Loren Woods , Chris Carr all NBA players! He was better than all of them at 14! We knew he wouldn’t play a college game! Shout out to Zo! I love these guys! He was so Skilled! He was before his time! The league changed when ! The league went from man to man fast break to half court slow down pick in roll!
Great interview! His mom use to drive us down to MCC to Shop Class from Lincoln! He was at Clark at the time I believe. She use to brag on him and say she couldn't find shoes to fit him lol. We use to talk ish and say stuff like "I bet he can't hoop us lol". Years later we found out how great he was lol. RIP coach Ron Woods and shout out to Coach Lewis for the great memories. I'm class of 96.
