I don't think Nisargadatta Maharaj would have approved following up his ideas with that of Neville Godard's, especially when the latter was still not evolved enough to learn about the art of letting go and surrendering to the universal intelligence - he learnt that later in his life.
Please do mention that merging the two concepts is your own idea, so that people don't assume that it's that of Nisargadatta Maharaj.

I have to agree. Nisargadatta advocated giving up the world not fulfilling desires. Neville Goddard advocated using your imagination, that's mind, dream, ego.

Neville Goddard's teaching is completely opposite to what Nisargdatta Maharaj teaches, He warned people do NOT condition your consciousness. manifestation wastes huge amount of energy, life is pre-scripted.
Neville and Nisargadatta are proposing the Same Goal but in a different perspective. Supreme Yogi has not done anything wrong. He has just tried to reach people the easy way to being desirelessness.

This technique is given here by Supreme Yogi not Nisarga dutta.

@@cshri123 Desirelessness is a state of non-duality. In the non-dual state, you and your desires are one and the same. There is nothing more to acquire because you have become one with the object you desire.

to awaken others often out of compassion. all your past desires will come true when they serve the higer good bc attachement and resistance fall away. I have been in the flow and then its just subtle preference, like playfully and it manifests fast but you wont really care. Afterwards you will become attached again and try to use detachement surrender ect as means to get what you want. This does not work or it will but you will see othersor things wasnt what was fulfilling about it. Better not ask for the things you are attached to bc they are an obstacle still. Just accept anything as it is now, as this is already what will help you the best in realising truth

Not sure if I got this right . Per saints like Ramana Maharishi everything is pre ordained . Whatever is destined to happen will happen . It’s all scripted from before . No one can defy destiny and the whole point is to get rid of thoughts but here we are creating more via imagination leading to more samsara and karma , wishes and desires and wants. Just to feel content .
Even I don't understand this method of manifestation when being the 'awareness' is the goal throughout the day.
Your imagination is God.

Glad that Supreme Yogi bought The Technique in. The end. Neville was the first I followed, who led me to Understand Consciousness. In search of which I landed on Ramana Maharshi,Nisargadutta majaraj,Papaji & Robert Adams.
Neville, Joseph Murphy, Ramana Maharshi & Robert Adams teachings is what I follow.
It all points to one thing, "I am Consciousness " I am that, I am not the body or the Mind.

Everyone obsessed wit how can "I" attain enlightenment. I, I, I, I, I. Nonsense. Even THIS comment is nonsense.
u ruined the potent NM message with Neville Goddard stuff. These are 2 totally different playing fields. NM is far more nuanced that Goddard's manifestation plain. Goddard stuff, while it works, will result in "Trishna" a never ending loop of more desires. Its a dog trying to catch his own tail and fooling itself that it is getting spiritual. NM is asking you to drop the I itself.
They are both close where the Self and I Am in concern but differs slightly in their end game. One advocates on Desireless and the other on Wishes Fulfilled
There's one statement as below from Maharaj that seems completely rhymes with Neville on individual's manifestation:-
Absolute perfection is here and now, not in some future, near or far. The secret is in action - here and now. It is your behavior that blinds you to yourself

Are you sure that Nisargadatta really said: "...here is an effective method by which you can become desireless like god..." ?
To become desireless is not our nature but we must develop the right desires. The title is a contradiction anyways. To become desireless and yet maintain the desires to manifest anything you want. Nonsense talk and yet people accept such foolishness in the name of knowledge. Only accepted by cheaters and foolish people.

Why not??? Being Desireless is the ultimate Aim. Desires are that, which keep us earth bound, so why not Take the easy way. Feeling the wish fulfilled is not that easy though, it needs practise, immense faith in Yourself/God that dwells in us, patience
