If a guru “teacher” is truly sincere about a souls spiritual growth; he will never charge for his guidance and will most likely have a job like you or me. He won’t resemble the typical eastern or western Guru we have come to know.
I could remember my young age life. My grand father Late. Thiru. Ramachandra Chettiar used to take us to the Annamalai Swami Ashram also called Pelakottu during the Pongal festival(festival of harvest) celebrated in Tamil Nadu during the Mid of Janaury. We used to prepare pongal in the open space and pray the snake pit there. After that we all will go to dharshan Annamalai Swamy. We will fall on his feet one after another and he will bless us. Then, he would give a raw wood stick to my grand father which we use on the next day while preparing Pongal. Now I feel, what a great experience we had. Thank God.

Very beautiful lesson being taught about being established in the true self. What I am taking from this is to practice being so familiar and identified as the true self (awareness) that at one point this becomes second nature throughout the day. Meanwhile don’t struggle with the challenges thrown by the mind and body on material or spiritual search as these challenges as merely me mistaking the rope to be snake. Instead just practice being and identified as the awareness and thus see the rope for what it is 🙏
Come to my understand a few day ago what the root cause of the mind and how it is being generated that is not the true nature or home. But I as consciousness take part to dream to give the mind apprearant of its existance. Then the mind imagines its own perception as realities that carry out by body sensory as real. I observed my self during this process when I got up in the morning with the understanding. To watch this clip today pretty much confirmed it. Thanks you for sharing.
