- From start to finish you will see how this trick on the streets of London is done, this video clip will show you step by step the secret of the street artist performing a floating and levitating trick. There is a steel plate on the pavement, covered with a carpet. On the corner of the plate, there is a rod sticking out, that connects with a seat, on which the performers sits. Albeit it's not easy for everyone to understand how he just floats with a pole there, this is still some brilliant yet simplistic entertainment for many, I for one still find this act amazing.
A hidden stand and pole that leads to a well balanced hidden foot stand or seat with all of them.

It still looks difficult... sitting up on that pole for gawd knows how long. Uncomfortable as hell, and still requires balance. And they pose like statues, a difficult feat in itself!!

None of these so-called "step-by-step" reveals actually show how the seat is attached, etc. They do not show the full mechanism, with the seat, harness, or whatever is used to attach the person to the bar.
It is shown on another video, keep looking.

The solid pole comes along the arm, down his side vertically and then horizontally behind his middle. He then just sits on the horizontal projection. How can you people not get this???

honestly its an easy trick to figure out. its not that amazing you obviously figure out it has something to do with the pole thats next to him otherwise there would be no point in having that.

For everyone claiming they know how the trick is done not a single person has explained it... at the very most said he's sitting on a seat but no one has explained how it's all connected
I would reckon after he attached the cross tube he would have a small steel seat with a tube attached that in turn slid over the tube pointing down with a steel pin through to keep it from sliding off again when his weight is applied.
But I could be wrong.

@@stanleybowman4464 I think you've figured it out pretty well. I imagined pretty much the same thing. It would hold his body weight and also allow for any rotation like some of these guys do. This takes nothing away from the performer, as it would still be physically a challenging job.

The secret of him floating is that. The rod attached to his arm then continues to his back and then a very thin layered sit which he is sitting on. Which he covers when he puts the red cloth over himself. Makes the adjustments once ready, takes the cloth off.
