EXACTLY! No one ever mentions this! This is the exact reason I hate Sleeping Dogs, I got that game and was severely disappointed to learn there was not even dogs in the game! 😡 honestly just a huge exploit in the gaming industry that needs to be diminished 🤦♂️

I'm not being sarcastic but watch dogs 2 has the best NPCs in a open world, on par with rdr2. The way they react to random events on street were so satisfying.

One time I got a gang member in front of the police and he shot an officer point blank with a shotgun and the cop didn’t even flinch. The same cop then drops him in one bullet immediately after.
Watch dogs twos city is about as alive as a Petri dish compared to rdr2

I just finished re-playing this game for the first time since it came out, blows my mind that it doesn’t have a remaster/frame rate boost on the series X/S. When I think about the experience of pulling up to a hostile area, sending out my drone to find what needs to happen, and then sending my RC car in to wreak havoc before just driving away like nothing happened, I honestly can’t think of another game that does that sort of thing that well. Legion pales in comparison.

My absolute favourite thing to do in WD2 is that go to a tezcas neighborhood and call the police and gang hit on someone and start a whole gang war, while I chill on a roof watching the whole thing on my quadcopter.

Honestly one of the best games I’ve ever played it came out around the perfect time around gta to where I could get my open world city shooter fix in and surprisingly I haven’t seen many people in the comments talking about it but the co-op was fantastic i had some great memories with

Watch dogs is definitely unique and likes the changes with Between 1,2 one of the only reasons I like legion is because of having the rare unique npcs,Aiden,wrench ( season pass ) and one funny fact I remember in part 1 I was just walking normally and I'm hearing Spanish from 2 NPCs chatting and 1 said my diarrhea was so bad it was coming out like water, I was just blasting out laughing 😂.
Ubisoft has always had good npcs, and their new AI system for upcoming games which involves like 10k different NPC types and moods all with their goals will be amazing. Look at the research paper if you are interested in stuff like game Dev

The only thing i hate watch dogs is the same food names, no location display in hud, weird safehouse except in silicon valley

heres a fun tip: if an npc is running and you run behind the you can press the punch button and you will use your 8ball and hit their legs and you knee slide then when their on the floor you punch them
Hear me out! This is a really beautiful game and ahead of its time. City is alive and it is very colorfull. Also the story is great.
