    One of the best power bank review clips I've seen...and I'm looking at loads at the mo. And answered one of my questions before I asked: about charging with a genny 👍🏻

    Great review, just an extra bit of info, you can power appliances greater than 1500W and it won't cut out. It will only power the appliance at 1500W so slower operation but in an emergency it's good to know. Not sure whether you mentioned surge up to 3000W, apologies if you did. The booster cable that you can buy separately is pretty expensive but if you buy one of the VTOMAN range of car booster batteries such as the 1500A or 2500A model you get the same cable and a 10,000 / 20000mah power bank with USB outputs and torch for less than the cost of the cable on its own and they are less weighty for starting your car than the Jump 1500X. They are often discounted on Amazon. Beware of buying non VTOMAN cables the plug on the end is different to others I've noticed.

      You can power greater appliances but the battery won’t last long! Thanks for the info 😃

    I have a question. I have a VTOMAN 1500 X - just now charged it. I had things going on - so had not unboxed it when I first got it. This thing charged fast and then turned itself off. Love that. Could this thing run a countertop ice maker to make some ice once in a while? I could call manufac. but thought it would be nice to just check with you. Thanks much. Glad to see how it works. I'm going to use mine to charge my lap top, my Iphone stuff like that.

      Check the wattage of the ice maker your looking at , but you should be able to as most don’t use that much power Lee

    Thanks for the comparison - I had been on the fence whether to get the Flash or the Jump. 😊

    Just a word of warning on the 220 w solar panels.
    For some reason, there are four panels... but only three panel supports. Not the most stability of panels.

    Hi, thanks for the vlog. Can you confirm you can plug into the centre ac outlet, with another plug plugged into the outlet next to it. They seem very close and I wonder if you get plugs with certain mouldings it won’t allow you plug them in next to each other. Thanks.

    • @FieldviewAdventures
      @FieldviewAdventures  7 місяців тому +1

      Yes if it’s a standard plug but as you said they are close together like a lot are and some charger plugs you’d struggle to get 2 in , we use somethimes the short extension witch comes with 4 plug sockets on to get around this problem

    Slightly different. I ordered a Vtoman 2200 last week, I sent an email regarding delivery and I was told they are out of stock till NOVEMBER. If I hadn't asked I'm sure they weren't planning on telling me.

      In our opinion the jump is a better option we’ve had one over a year it’s been fantastic

    Really good review ! We have a 1000w Bluetti for the 700w toaster, iPads, iPhones and TV in the caravan. Been thinking about a larger unit as the van rates at 3Kw, be nice to run it off a power bank with solar panels maybe on top of the van (we are static for the season). I believe more Caravanners are looking at these units due to arriving on site to find the plots now all have electricity meters set to extortion mode !. Maybe you can review a 3Kw unit next ?

    HI AGAIN STEVE.. NOTICED you have a different power bank Generator in your van , AFERIY LARGE model in a previous video. you decided to keep this one . what size is it steve. what do you think off the ECOFLOW DELTA MODELS, HAVE YOU not tried the ecoflow delta MAX 2 2048 CAPACITY. I LIKE THE LOOK OFF THAT ONE. also you decided against keeping the vtoman 1500 FLASHSPEED, SO what power bank generator is your favoured choice and your daily user.

      Fir the last 8 months the vto man flashspeed was our main power bank , but we’re got the allpower R2500 so gave the vto man to brother in law and use the allpower as its bigger

    Hi, can I plug my Motorhome directly into it as with an ehu? Looking at getting the 1500 set up with extra battery and 400w solar. Would like to be off grid and run ac for at least half an hour. May thanks

    Can you connect your own solar panel?

    • @FieldviewAdventures
      @FieldviewAdventures  6 місяців тому +1

      Yes but depends on if the solar panel is the right size and the right cable connections

      You can do yes but they do say it reduces the life of the battery if you do so ..

    My Jump 1500X failed (with an alarming burning smell) after a year and a couple of days; I hadn't even used it a massive amount. I was quite happy with it until then. Vtoman support has not been at all helpful up to now...

    hi steve, found you today and glad i did, cracking videos mate on the VTOMAN FLASHSPEED 1500 WATTS POWERBANK, you use campsites in your motorhome steve and use on occasions the electric hook up on site to charge back up the vtoman flashspeed 1500. do you know the amps draw this vtoman 1500 draws from the campsite power as worried it may trip out the campsite supply. a few off the campsites we have been too are only 10amp rated more modern campsites are 16amp. have you had any problems on campsites connecting this vtoman flashspeed 240 volts supply to charge the powerbank back up to full. thanks paul

    hi steve now subscribed , excellent videos, concidering going for the vitoman flashspeed 1500 bundle with 400watts solar panel and maybe the 1548wh extra battery. we sometimes tour abroad through the EU. DO YOU KNOW HOW LONG IT TAKES to fully charge up the vtoman 1500 flashspeed on 400 watts solar panel on its own. thanks paul

    • @FieldviewAdventures
      @FieldviewAdventures  7 місяців тому

      Good morning, the vto flashspeed is very quiet you won’t hear it , charging from the mains takes just over an hour and we had no problem charging it in the EU .
      All depends on the sun and I’ve not tried charging it but with a 400w panel I’d expect around 6 hours on a good day would be my guess 👍

    I followed your affiliate link and purchased jump 1500x plus 2 panels
    All they posted out was 2 solar panels I have contacted vtoman several times via email and facebook but no response
    Is there any chance you could contact them
    Amazon won’t help because it’s a affiliate link

    • @FieldviewAdventures

      Can you provide us with your purchase information so we can contact them for you please? Also we do not have affiliate links with vtoman we don’t make a penny from sales with the company, they are the company’s own links they provide. Either send via kathryn.steve2020@gmail.com or fb messenger ☺️
