Hey, the Original Paddles were made out of flip flops and then they got a bit of a better design so they dont use flip flops anymore, its basically just a rubber paddle with a hard rubber handle, material wise it works great because you dont get any form of SLAP sound when it hits the tubes.
the Luxor used to have this running 24/7 on their channel when you turned on the TV. I believe it was 2003. I saw them there for the first time in 2001.
