Annette's singing in this is fabulous. Everytime I watch this video my first thought is that it's a good thing she cannot see the mayhem behind her! Even though Blue Man Group are pretty famous for being very difficult I confess I love this video and they do put on one hell of a show.

It's just like a crush except crunchier. She is so cute I can't believe it. And this song is great. I faintly recognized the song from somewhere in my past, and found out it's an old Donna Summer song. I missed most of the disco era. I was a rocker and there was a war on disco. The disco boys, Johnny Travolta, Jordache Jeans, and the spoon for up your nose, it all seemed so cheesy, so me and my rocker buddies missed the whole thing. The good thing about it is a lot of the music was actually pretty cool and I'm getting to enjoy it for the first time. Hearing this for the first time yesterday really blew me away. You're amazing Annette Strean/ Venus Hum!! The energy in this venue must have been off the charts!!! What an amazing performance and MUCH BETTER than Donna Summer could deliver!
One of the most phenomenal expressions of pure joy that I have EVER witnessed!!! First, I've always loved that song since it first came out back in '77, and I was a huge Donna Summer fan then. So I felt understandably skeptical when this presented as 'something I might enjoy.' THIS BLEW MY MIND!!! I STILL have goosebumps! 🤪❣️
Oh man, I got goosebumps and tears in my eyes watching this video. Imagine seeing it live.. good god. I'd leave there numb and vibrating walking out to the car. Very impressive performance.. And I've seen the likes of Queen, The Who, David Bowie, Tool, The Big Four (Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, and Anthrax), Muse (Muse puts on an INCREDIBLE show), U2, Foo Fighters, Stone Temple Pilots, among many, many others. And just seeing this performance on video blew my mind. I never knew the BMG were so fucking incredible.

Saw this concert live in Kansas City at the Sprint Center several years ago. As amazing as this concert is ( I have the cd) it is SO much better in person. We were quite a ways back up in the second level, but when he hits that big drum, you can FEEL it in your chest! This concert is hands down the best that I have ever seen , in person or recorded, and I'm 71 years old. It NEVER gets old!!! The talent of all of these performers is absolutely unreal!! The 9/11 tribute gets to me eveytime I see it, very powerful stuff.
Thats such a feel good song!! Love watching Venus Hum! That girl has a set of lungs for sure!!!
Saw Blue Man Group a few years ago in Vegas and all I can say is you don't just to see them in concert, you experience them in concert. Best show I have ever seen.
You've convinced me. I'm going.
You're amazing Annette Strean/ Venus Hum!! The energy in this venue must have been off the charts!!! What an amazing performance and MUCH BETTER than Donna Summer could deliver!
I think her performance is absolutely phenomenal. She emits joy and a love for the stage. Just awesome!!!
Annette Strean.... dressed like that and just RADIANT - She owns the world 🌎 ❤❤❤
one of the best jams i have seen. the band is crazy and annettes voice is unreal. would so love to see this live
Blue man group is amazing live. Seen them in Chicago
@@AlphaMachina In 2003, I saw Venus Hum for this first time do this song on this same tour with Blue Man. I have been a fan ever since. Love them. Wish Annette's voice had not been messed up.
@@mloftin6472 From what I've read, her voice was messed up before she did this concert. It was in the early 2000's that she had surgery to remove nodes from her vocal chords, and this tour was in 2009/2010 I think, so yeah. She was singing like this /after/ surgery.
@@AlphaMachina They toured with Blue Man in the early 200Os. I went to one of the concerts on this tour in 2003. That tour ended in 2004. Her surgery took place about a year after the tour and about a year before the release of their next album in 2006. She is still a great singer, but her voice is just not quite what it was before the surgery. She is still young, maybe 43 right now, so I hope she and the guys make some music again.
Ну це просто охрінітєльно! Слухаю 15 рокіа і кожен раз надихає. Це мистецтво в рівень з Гете, Петраркою і Емінемом!
I ha e seen this so many times and watch it ever now and again ! And every time I am blown away with the power and happiness !! So amazing !!
2021 and still rocking‼️
her dress is powered by the love & the joy she is clearly feeling...
you are right. its impossible to watch this and not smile! this has brought me out of some pretty crummy moods during this quarantine, so years after yr upload, it's still making ppl happy. thank you!!!!

What she did what she did. Blue Man Group. Background band. Did my best to track. Never fortunate. Brava brava Venus.
Tried to pay my sister LOL TO simply wear your dress.....comparable to said electric dress 1 day. She my elder. She introduced me to Roll Over Betohvan. Feel us elders. 6 family members passed in 4 yrs. Joy would be great from YA ALL.
The look of joy while singing just makes this more awesome than it already is!
