One thing I think he’ll need to get used to are the ‘hands’ of NBA players. He’s like 70% legs, so his dribble is quite high, super easy to pick pocket especially since he doesn’t have bulk to physically fend off the defender in the mid court and outside the restricted area while he is dribbling. I think a zone + just physicality off the ball would work quite well against him as a result. Players like Embiid, Draymond, Bam, AD, Steven Adam’s - they can probably make his life more difficult. Kristaps also kind of maybe neutralizes some of his unique physical traits, esp because he can kind of play perimeter D against him maybe if he plans for it / they scout the kid that way. Ultimately his high dribble and his physicality are his two only weaknesses. 1 is completely fixable.
Just feed him on catch and shoots and midrange/low post and the dribble issue wont even exist, get him to attack mismatches next the paint and its chicken bbq

If Rockets get him 2024 they probably won't win a title their first with him but 2025 with year 4 Jalen Green and Sengun, year 3 Jabari Smith and year 2 Wembenyama will be the scariest young core in NBA history and favorites to win it all. Houston Rockets are kids Green, Smith and Sengun only 19 to 20 years old so they will very likely be bottom 3 in the West and have top 5 or 6 odds to draft Wembenyama. If Rockets get him 2024 they probably won't win a title their first with him but 2025 with year 4 Jalen Green and Sengun, year 3 Jabari Smith and year 2 Wembenyama will be the scariest young core in NBA history and favorites to win it all. And even scarier is next summer they will have likely be top 5 in cap space with the ability to sign anyone that's available because they'll all be on rookie contracts.
