Bigs can't keep up with the step back, and guards and wings don't have a chance in hell of disrupting a shot with a release point half way to the rafters. I got to start back watching Spurs games. I don't follow the NBA closely like I used to when I was a freshman in college and I first started watching and will watch almost every game even when it was between sorry teams. This is an excellent point…it doesn’t mean it can’t happen, but ultimately him developing a consistent 3 would be essentially an S-tier weapon. .00001 percent of the world has a chance to stop it, and he would be saving his legs and body from contact while still having his post game as a back up. He is also never gonna lose the ability to score within 5 feet of the hoop, so it makes the most sense to develop a 3 now cuz he doesn’t even NEED it this season.

I got to start back watching Spurs games. I don't follow the NBA closely like I used to when I was a freshman in college and I first started watching and will watch almost every game even when it was between sorry teams. Now I mostly just watch Laker games because of LeBron James and Anthony Davis but I promised myself once LeBron James retires Victor Wembanyama is going to be my new favorite player. I watched a few Spurs games last season and I immediately started liking Wembanyama because he has the offense of skills and crazy defensive skills. I'm hoping that in a year or two they can get him some help and the Spurs can get back to being relevant like they were with Tim Duncan.
