POE 2 Early Access Will Be The Death of D4

- Hey guys what's up in this video we're going to take another look at Path of Exile 2 and where it's at for development, some Early Access Closed Beta info, and also compare it with Diablo 4 a little bit. Thanks for watching.

Sometimes I enjoy it, other times not so much. It’s also not fun being incredibly limited on builds either which D4 feels that way sometimes.
Quite honestly i couldn't agree more. When poe 2 launches I'm shelving D4
It looks so good.
PoE has its good and bad leagues, but is my go-to for ARPG. D4 has been pretty meh since release, but this most recent update has been an absolute blast to play, even if it's still very shallow compared to other ARPGs. Last Epoch 1.0 release was also pretty great, though it is in dire need of balancing for certain classes. D3 is always a blast to play for a week. PD2 commands a few weeks of my attention each season as well. I feel like it's less an argument of one ARPG killing the others, and which one will take priority in the event that they overlap with one another on big patches / wipes. Same goes for PoE 2, will just be another title to balance with the others as far as I'm concerned

i really wish you would change this title cuz d4 is not the one to beat sir. if anything poe2 will be a contender for poe1. d4 is struggling lol. although it seems like season 4 of d4 is finally them hitting their stride
I’m thinking more like POE2 when it comes out vs the D4 expansion and how we got to where Diablo has become a mid tier arpg.

Why are you so frustrated? I mean Poe is nice but who the fuck cares if is better than d4 or not. Imo if you like poe play por and if you like d4 play d4. Too much drama for views.
Nah dude I just wish D3 and D4 lived up to D1 and D2 is all. POE should never even had a chance to exist if blizzard did their job right.

@@The_D_Cast D1 and D2 were shallow as well, good for the era but not for now, not anymore, although D1 had a thing that not a single arpg achieved which was the ambiance and serious tone of the game
@@royalecrafts6252 the itemization in both games was on point as well. Finding gear was fun and meaningful. The loot piñatas in arpgs now just becomes a chore to sort through.
@@The_D_Cast D2 had a lot of stat bloating and useless stats as well, but I agree with you, path of exile just has too many afixes its a chore to find an item, IF you find it haha, 95% of time you just trade for better items
My friends and I were so bored with D4. I'm 100% positive its the worse game I've ever played to completion.

To burst your bubble:
1) No one not invested in PoE which is a niche game (yes), will spend hundreds of dollars to get „EA“.
2) Who knows when they actually deliver their beta, now that Tencent owns 100% of GGG (which screams even more aggressive micro transactions)
3) No one can compete with Diablo in the long term. Every instalment was a huge success with a dedicated followership.
4) Only because you find that alpha convincing and D4 less convincing doesn’t mean PoE2 is better or will kill D4. No competitor, no hype, will kill it. It sold 10m copies in the first month of release. All the drama and whining is only because there are many people playing it.
5) Even though D3 got memed, it still was more successful and popular than PoE ever was.
All Diablo killers (and WoW killers) did not succeed in killing these games.

@@Haxmarryhe’s not wrong. We all know POE is a better arpg but that doesn’t make it the more popular title. POE is very niche and not casual-dad friendly like the Diablo series will always be, which is why it will never get the same numbers as Diablo gets.
