Hey Shawn Sav & Mo you guys are just the best thing ever on UA-cam. I’ve been watching you Shawn for around 9 years. 🤦🏾 we are the same age and I can’t thank you all enough for providing me with peace of mind in all that you provide. It’s effective and bring joy
As a lefty I appreciate seeing lefties in action but I also appreciate that you reference “trail” arms rather than saying “left” or “right”. Speaking that way allows me to focus on the concept rather than always having to convert the “hand” in my mind.
Merci pour la joie que vous transmettez, merci à Edouard qui fait de même, merci pour la clarté la précision de vos cours, malgré mon âge je progresse, sans stress et avec beaucoup de plaisir. Bonnes fêtes de Pâques.
Shawn you fixed my swing and I finally broke 100!! And I did it on one of the hardest courses in the area. Been struggling for years to do it and today IN THE RAIN shot a 94!! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!!
This video has so much more meaning to anyone who either watched your early videos or owns your early DVD series. Sav's backswing is unstoppable. Pure Clement. Respectfully, I believe that Moo has a tendency to rush his swing, before completing his backswing. He's very strong, so he's still able to get good results. However, I feel like he would benefit by relaxing a bit. I recommend your "toss fall" video. It reinforces the importance of completing the backswing, and planting to begin the forward swing, using momentum instead of brute strength. 😎
@@golflessons I figured that he was working on things. He has great support. I'm thinking relaxed arms, toss fall, and the video where you show how to swing using minimal momentum and slowly increasing. Great way to start a Saturday morning . I'm heading to the range at noon today . Sav"s walking drill will be something I try . Shawn...you need to get Mu his own mic :) Thanks for another great video !!
Have been trying the perpetual motion drill using a full back and forward swing with limited success as I was loosing balance and 'control'. Wound it back to half swings only and bang - smooth and controlled weight shift and motion! If you can't quite get the hang of this drill maybe using the shorter half swing might help! Over to you Shawn!!
I often see my students rushing through the PMD instead of letting the weight of the arms and club fall past them in each direction without any force at all. Gotta stop yanking back and shoving through and just allow gravity to do all the work! 😝😝
Absolutely love all your content you and sav saved my golf game about 3 years ago now! You made golf about being athletic not rehearsing positions. The only thing I have never learned is how sav can have the club face so closed at the top and not hook it off the map. I've tried and I will hook it a mile?
It is just how Sav is made with small hands and wrists; she has the club face in the same position as so many other professionals who can swing deep through the ball because of it and hit fades like Dustin Johnson, Brendan Steele, Zack Johnson and many more!

Hello. I have been watching your videos for years. It has definitely helped with my consistency. I have tried everything you have said. When swinging through the ball vs at the ball, there needs to definitely be an adjustment with grip and club face being more closed; see “through the ball vs at the ball shawn clement”
I think for me allowing the body to turn during the backswing is going to be the toughest part. Everyone always says, “don’t let your body turn during backswing”, “make sure your knees are far apart”. I now understand all the problems I have with my swing, it’s because of the damn weight shift. I’ve been trying to shift the weight completely to the right foot during backswing so I end up half a mile away from the ball and have to try and get back to it. I will try this when I’m back out again
Yessir you bet! No angles, no restrictions, just turn your back to the target and throw the club in the direction you want to start the ball. See “Throwing the club straight shawn clement”

Hey Mike! It is all about “throwing the club farther” like in the “club speed” and the “throwing series” video on premium; Mu and I are working on a BIG POWER series at the moment which will be unveiled this summer when on course! 👍👍
Is it illegal to start with the "mowing the grass" swing before hitting the ball? So basically stand one ball back, start your swing and then step into your shot.
I can see Sav has a very strong grip, why doesn't she hook the ball? I was told to weaken my grip but I end up playing even worse because I can't hold on to the club.
From one teacher to another. Teach what you want people to remember. Consider if you only had 15 seconds to teach students what color the tree is. If you stated, "the tree isn't blue. The tree isn't orange. The tree is green. The tree isn't red." Compare to, "the tree is green, the tree is green, the tree is green, the tree is green." Great golf concepts in the video.
I think the real problem is keeping the head behind the ball at impact. I always find it hard not to move my arms shoulders and head moving during downswing.

See “predict perfect contact and direction shawn clement” and “how to put the ball in the way of your swing shawn clement”
I always find it hard not to move my arms shoulders and head moving during downswing.
see “hammer through shawn clement” and “how to get behind the ball shawn clement” as starters! 👍😀
Please add more right handed instructions. Thanks!
80% of our premium channel at www.wisdomingolfpremium.com and over 800 of our 900 videos on youtube are right handed! 😝😝
I don't get it. You can use everything you teach exactly the same no matter which side faces the target.
@@wjhall307 yep! See my oldie but goodie driver fitting at Ping Tour Headquarters where I drive the ball over 300 yards with a trackman both right and left handed! 😝😀👍 ua-cam.com/video/Oq0IJAhbEX0/v-deo.html
How does she have so much shaft lean at address without de-lofting the club face ?
Seems like some references to "the golf machine?" (dandelions) i wish people talked more on what to do right than spend too much time on what NOT to do, it just complicates things. i like your channel but keep it simple and spend time on the positives. Its just too mush noise - if that makes sense. It sometimes comes over as your talking at us rather than to us. (think condescending but not too bad) Its always in the delivery!
Very much appreciate the comment Steve; thank you for the constructive criticism and you bet that I will be keeping this in mind in the future.

We have another way to enjoy all my videos in my life’s work as a separate option for premium and it is called “RETRIEVE” which is a new SEARCH TECHNOLOGY for instant access straight into the time stamp on any and all golf subjects in my work. Here is the link! wisdomingolf.retrieve.com/store/#/
212 7-iron carry??? 🤯
For some reason I blinked when he threw the club.
Slow backswing, pause at top and fire !!!
So…start pulling with your feet and later you can gently throw arms/club
All these Shawn Clements videos are the same. In fact they are the same thing as his videos from 15 years ago. Nothing new. Cut the grass. Throw the club. Chop the tree. Over and over and over again.
I couldn't so I quit playing!!!
