Naw just a few granola crunchers, they prefer everyone graze like a cow. And Mic Wri I DID BUY A SHELL HOLDER for my daughters 243 from this video and she will cherish it for life most likely.
@Mik Wri It may be made from a piece of leather or wood, but it's how and what the finished product has been crafted into. @Mik Wri Surely even you can appreciate the skills. I suppose you say the same thing when you go to fill up your vehicle with fuel. How are people supposed to survive if they don't charge for their work. Every man and girl is worth their salt. Lately so many people want things for nothing. No one is forcing you to buy anything, so if you don't like it, move on
I think they're all freaked out about Christina never sharpening her sloyd carving knife XD I'm a little shocked myself, as a woodcarver, but also I'd be a hypocrite if I said I'd never done similarly....
See what happens when parents are on the same page in raising their children? You get creative, intuitive, and self sufficient children who are in touch with life and their food sources. Beautiful video!
I recently saw a comment from their competition. "Why are those big farms destroying the land by growing acres and acres of corn and soybeans? When we want food we can just go to the grocery store."
My husband LOVED the belt! It was so beautifully finished and soft. He says it is very comfortable while sitting at a desk all day. Thank you for making his birthday special. Much love from Colorado.
Your family is such a wonderful inspiration for other people who want their kid to do something other than computer games and couches. Great parenting never looked so easy.
what i like about you most bro is you take care of your daughters and you let them live without being to difficult on them.that makes you Badass in my book
So I am kinda curious if the ammo belt Julia was making was the one my wife ordered for me. Her name was Rowena Gagnon. We recieved it a few weeks ago. She won't give it to me until Christmas but I snuck a peek at it. Anyone that buys one will love it, very solid build it will last a life time.
Just one word to describe this vid. "Priceless". A family contribution to off grid living. Thank you for sharing your simple lifestyle. it brings love ones together. Greetings from Australia.
I'm a dad with, now, two all grown up girls. Looking into your daughters eyes brings back long memories way back yonder. This is the very best years you will ever have on this earth! Treasure them!! It won't get better than this!
Your girls have a lot of talent, the things they make is priceless. Could you imagine what the world would be like with more young one's like your kids, job well done. God Bless and be safe
These girl are so humble, and very capable. Jeff hats off to you and Rose with the upbringing of the girls. Rose you're doing a fantastic job in keeping his feet grounded. Know it must be difficult for a Dad with daughters like yours not to burst - bust - or blow up with pride. So Rose gold medal for you, woman seems to handle it better. Amen
The reason I ordered that big spoon from Keziah is that when I’m cooking in a large pot and need to stir things, I need a spoon that is flat at the bottom and with a long handle. It’ll be great for sautéing, making jams and so on! Great job Keziah!!
Ciao. Bravi! Complimenti e buona caccia, pesca e tante belle cose!! Ciao!! Roberto 👍👍
Thanks for another video glimpse into your lives all. Although I've said this before, it's so good to witness the next generation learning valuable life skills and being both aware and tied to their food source. We've lost that as a society - our connection to primary food producers and food itself - and it shows, in a myriad of negative ways. Kudos to you all for maintaining this vital connection. All the best to you all.
Seeing your beautiful family all get involved in doing things around the homestead, all self motivated, puts a smile on my face. Fantastic work. You are winning at life my friend 🙏🏾😊
Julia, build yourself a burnishing rod / wheel. Easy to do just make sure you have different grove width. Find some bees wax wet your edge of your project before sewing it together (don't get it to wet) and rub some wax on the edges. Take your burnishing rod and rub it down till the wax is gone. I use a piece of burlap sack and go over it afterwards and it shines it up real nice. It will improve the look a lot.
I thank you for letting me in your life in home . Jeff you and Rose have done such a great job with your girls .I wish I still had the chance to finish being a father because in 2019 my daughter my one and only child had a car crash and she passed away . This hurts my heart everyday but when I look at your vid they make me fill so better . So thank u so much GrIdlesness
You all are amazing, truly a joy to watch your videos! Being a wood worker my self I can appreciate the talent and craftsmanship that goes into every project. Keep up the good work!!
Great off grid capitalists. Thinking I will shop at their online store. Took awhile, bought some of your goods. Look forward to wearing the cap, stirring with the wooden spoon and using the holster for my 9mm at the range. Thanks for your great work.
Hi, I am from Pakistan and studying in China, and i love watching your Channel, specially the hunting. You have an amazing family. I would love to visit you in future..
I was watching some farm video and found one of their videos, i couldn't stop myself from there finished watching all of your videos in 3 days, you are blessed to have such a wonderful parents than most of us who are making their children living robots.
It's great to see hard working industrious young people. So many youngsters do not want to work. You are doing a fantastic job raising your girls.confidence ,resilience and independence is what you are making them earn.keep up the good work.
I suggest for all the kids to focus on the leather products, and open a Shopify store. Your own site is a good thing but you must work on the traffic. With Shopify, you got way more potential buyers. It's like a huge market center, lots of people going there with intent to buy. There's always some chances your listing showing up when the potential buyers browsing there. You can try the free package first and learn how to optimize your store. Good luck, I love this channel!
You have given your children the work ethic in order to survive. And not to depend on someone else to provide their subsistence. Kudows to you my friends! In actuality you have given your children the gift of life.
Absolutely love the life you have created and how your girls are involved in every aspect of the homestead. The world is a better place for having you in it and living your truth/best life 😊
Way to promote ur girls Jeff! They are lucky to have you as a dad and friend. Awesome they are making money doing things they actually enjoy that is priceless! I also carve spoons and if you are getting 30$ you are doing great! Would love to order some bacon from ya.. I too care for how the animal is raised and fed humanly. Your family rocks and so does save the master wood worker! I am now blacksmithing tanning deer hides and woodworking rustic furniture and it is super enjoyable I hope one day to be able to make a living with my crafts as well. Keep up the awesome work.

Love the fact that the girls are hard working and independent. They have great Morales unlike allot of the other kids nowadays. I grew up a country boy lived there most of my life. Where respect was given to our elders. The girls will be the better part of our society. Thumbs up girls don't ever stop trying.
I like the video because it shows the entrepreneurial spirit is alive and well. The ammo pouch could come in handy for me so I might just buy one for myself :-)! For the record my favorite calibers are 270 , 7mm and 30 caliber!
What an amazing family! Great videos. I live in BC too, and have black-tail (coastal mule deer) deer in my yard every day. Organic wild meat is sooooo good to eat. Hunting is deeply rooted in us all, but relatively few people in our high-tech world ever get to unleash this primordial hunting instinct to harvest their own meat and fur. Wonderful to watch your shows. Thanks.
Great video! Our girls loved it! Now they all want to get leather and wood carving tools! 😆 They’re not at the killing and gutting yet but within time! 😆
shout out to Julia that does leather work. if you can find deer antlers. you can use the tines to make hand made awls for leather workers. they sell for big bucks. they [antler] also make really neat looking closures for bags

Hi there family, I like the way everyone has their own trade of skills, keeping busy. now julia working with leather is awesome reminded me of when I did the same making belts in class at school. I loved it, the bacon made me hungry lol. great video I loved it . keep up the good work , love you guys.
I like you and your family and thank you for sharing this beautiful life and your experience with us all - Great! Well I visited your website and your shop - Making money in your situation? Well do it right - Knowbody has a general recipe for making money, but I think stear the wood carving more in the direction of christmas accesoirs, I can imagine it could run better. Christmas accesoirs can be promoted better, there are diffenret ways to do that(Keep in mind it's a billion dollar business). Leather work looks nice and again stear it more to horse riding accesoir, that' s also a huge market - Customers are willing to pay a good price. At least the pistol holster, complete it to a shoulder pistol holster. Good Luck and Greetings from Germany.
I love you and yr family the girls are so talented in what they do and make witch tells me that you and miss rose did a great job teaching the the essentials in life Great Job. Please make more videos
My daughter has 4 children that has no skills except playing games and reading on their phones. She home schools them. But they do nothing else with their time. I sent this video to my daughter. This is a good video. My four grands are from ages 16 to 12. I had to teach my grandson how to use a hatchet and a knife but at his home his father refuses to give him a knife or hatchet. He isn't even taught how to cook a meal or make his on sandwich or cereal. He's being taught that it's a woman's job to cook, clean, sew, wash clothes and wash dishes is a woman's job. He's now 16 years old. He only plays games online and my daughter and his sisters wait on him like he's a prince. When he visits me he is taught all those things and I tell him if he wants something he has to do it himself and of course if he has questions how to do something. I teach him with patience
I just want to say I enjoy watching your videos. Watching how the girls get involved in thing you and their mom are doing. And how they like doing the craft work they do. I’m a big crafter and like to make things by hand. For them to have to want to and the will to do things to save money for themself one day or to help out the family is awesome. What those kids do is far better then 95% of the American kids these day sitting around on a hand held games or a phone in their face. Some people is going to laugh at them try and brake their hearts but I love what they are doing. It don’t matter they price they put on there handmade stuff. People is going to complain either way. Thing is if they don’t like what they see or hear they have to choice not to listen to it or watch it. Over the 12 years of being a single mother and now grandmother I’ve learned people say things to hurt others just to make themself feel better cause they know they want to do things like that in their life but are to lazy. Those kind of people that say bad things is the ones that won’t pay so said “$80” for a hand crafted product but will go spend it on a lotto ticket and lose that money with nothing to show for now. Cause that’s their way of getting rich fast. I love what y’all do as a family.
those who dislike the video must be an alien or something
Now it's 8, it's an invasion lol.

I teach him with patience
your girls are amazing
Oh- if only I had more money- I would sit on little else but Dave's chairs. As it is , I am afraid that joy must wait.
Wonderful family. It's good to know you-guys live where you do, and live as you do. You'll be safe out there.
You have bunch of talented young ladies
Love this video. Girls doing business! I hope they sell out quickly
