Tatranská elektrická železnica, Slovensko / Tatra Electric Railway, Slovakia

The Tatra Electric Railway runs along two routes in the High Tatras mountains: Poprad - Starý Smokovec - Štrbské Pleso; and the shorter Starý Smokovec - Tatranská Lomnica route.
This narrow gauge railway was first opened in 1908 and expanded in the following years.
At the beginning of the 21st century new Stadler GTW ZSSK Class 425.95 railcars were introduced. This fleet of 15 was supplemented in 2021 with five new Stadler Class 495.95 electric multiple units. Both types can be seen in this video.
