I am currently really into making crochet flowers! Never made them before, dove in, and absolutely love it! I plan on trying different types of flowers and would then make a flower crown with them for an upcoming (end of) summer party :)

Ranunculus by Midori Hirose is a really great top/sweater pattern which you could use your random fingering yarn for. I knit one recently and was surprised by how well the pattern fits; for some reason on Ravelry all the pictures show it aggressively oversized, but it's quite easy to adjust based off your own gauge to make it closer fitting.
For the fingering peach yarn make the palm your knits top by knitting tipsy it’s a great summer/spring top you will love it!!!

im currently sizing up a version of the fairy leaves dress by yarnspirations as a gift for my 4 y/o cousin. even basing it off of an actual pattern is tough enough when it comes to mathing out the dimensions so i know you are having fun with free handing lol
