Hawkeye band alum...I was the only Des Moines Roosevelt (and the whole metro conference, actually) school alum in the 1987 band that went to the Kickoff Classic and Holiday bowl. But Des Moines Roosevelt did have at least one member of the Cyclone band that year...Paula B.
"In heaven there is no beer (No beer) That's why we drink it here And when we're all gone from here Our friends will be drinking all the beer" We stole the first verse and made it famous. Only played after a win. Best people and culture in college sports. - Alum 95'. Go HAWKS!
I’ve thought about moving to Iowa so many times. It just seems like a nice place to live with good people who really love their state. Maybe after my husband retires from the Army.
@@VictoriaBelanger Iowa City and Des Moines are my two favorites, but you're right. Iowa (except for some southern border towns) is the best mix of liberal thought and conservative common sense in the country
Cyclone band alum, love seeing the band get some love! Go Clones and Go Hawks! #oneiowa

I never knew who Iowa was until Pat McAfee went to do a show at their campus. Congratulations Iowa women's basketball. Go all the way
*This marching band is so hype!*
I am ready for the PMS to be back on college campus this fall. Some of the best content comes from these shows.
Awesome! From a band alum. 1972 - 1976!
In Heaven There Is No Beer is the victory anthem.

Our friends will be drinking all the beer"
