Love the content , Bossio. I believe this is located +100 miles outside the Bay Area where cost of living is much cheaper, so reflected in haircut costs. Reyes content is dope too.
My guy Chris Bossio I love your videos you helped me take my haircuts the next level and now my entire suburb and barbershop acknowledges my skill. Much love from Australia bro ❤️❤️❤️
8:54 made me feel great Chris. There’s always room for passionate people because it shows. People can tell the difference between “your hair is dope id love to be the one to cut it” vs “price is on the wall says it right there”
Great video been cutting hair at home for a couple years. Now I start barber school this month. Decide I want to be legit going for a barber fulltime. This video made me feel good about taking it on full time I love what I do . Keep the videos coming
I’ve only cut my dads hair. I’ve always thought of becoming a barber but never went in pursuit. I’m 24 now, and this video was honestly motivating and encouraging.
@chris bossio. Hey man I just wanted to say you inspired me and helped me find my passion. I came across barbering during the pandemic when my local shop closed down and had to start cutting my own hair. Fast forward 2 years later I'm able to give our young airmen at my base quality haircuts and help inspire them to follow their passions. Much love brotha. I appreciate all the content you and the rest of the barbers on UA-cam helping folks like me out. 💯🤙🤙
This is so motivating. I really love cutting but my favorite part is the customer service. Going that extra mile in anything service related and just being a good person is why I do it. I’m going to barber college it’s settled.
Been looking into going to barber school. Filled out my fafsa today and feel a little discouraged. Some bossio videos are bringing me back around though.
Reyes is great! I used to watch him back when he had vending machine videos and he’s come a long way! Been a min since I watched him he did great with this video!
i think it’s obvious LA or SF are unique cities.I disagree with “nobody would consider paying over $20” cost of living in Cali is more expensive than most states including the inland areas. Especially comparing apples to apples... they charge $20 for a cut in the Florida swamps lol
S/O to that barber man I’m new to the game and that’s give me motivation to keep it moving cause I’m ngl I do lose passion but seeing stuff like this makes it wanna make it seriously
I cut hair as a hobbie right now, the more I do it and the more I view your content, my love for barbering grows. You motivated me to start my own videos on how I cut. I think that I just might become a licensed barber. I have a lot of love for it!!
Barbershops raising their prices was the reason I started cutting my own hair. I invested my time in learning and during the early days of the pandemic, I saw that it was the perfect time to finally practice since nothing was open at the time. There’s no way I’m spending $35 just to look fresh for 3 days.
@@gotchabud3047 lol I make good money at my job for me to afford to go to the barbershop every week but if I can save money on a haircut that I can do on myself just as dope then I will. I have been cutting my own hair for over a decade and I get tons of compliments and requests from people to cut their hair. My hair is always looking hella fresh. It's simple common sense to save money bro.
@@edgarez6057 i highly doubt that bro. Send me a picture if your hair through IG and i’ll show you what i can do. Of course using a 3 on too with a skin is easy AF to do.
Good video really good stuff wish I would have found your channel long time ago. Best channel by far in my opinion sometimes I don’t understand why you have more subs.
What do you think about charging a extra 5$ for a beard trim if you’re adding to your haircut but 15$ for just a beard trim? I think adding just 5 is pretty low if you do it for 15$
Anybody who isn’t a part of the academy yet and want to become better barbers. You need to get in on it. We got 5 educators in there right now and it’s so interactive and keeps getting better. And for new barbers or barbers who wants all the fundamentals of barbering on lock get that foundations course. Literally the best investments I’ve made for my career.
Hey Chris, damn man I look forward to killing some time while watching and learning some new and productive content. Great work as always for sharing, being professional, and humble not just with your craft and passion but for the assists you give to others as well! 👍
Here in Louisiana really no one goes to barber school b/c we have an apprenticeship program that allows you to cut under a master barber for about 2 years until you take the state exam
Pinellas tech has the best prices around right at $6,000.00 and Mr C is an amazing teacher, he told me about you when I got started 6 months ago. It’d be awesome if you came thru. Thank you for all you do for us Mr Bossio! Your a legend in my book. The bases you’re covering is the realest man. Much respect!
Damn my barber school was 5k in 2016 and I was done and licensed in 1 year. Now they charge $6,500. That’s out here in SoCal and here at my shop we charge $30 for a haircut and $50 for haircut and beard trim

@@Bossiocuts you're right, and in nyc there is more than enough ppl. But can't compare middle village to inner city queens, every borough in ny is specifically known for different style and price, based on neighborhood, all im saying is there is a big majority that walks away simply because its $18 for a cut..
A_DRXW not comparing middle village I’m simply saying I’m in NYC very often... I was born in the Bronx and do a lot of business out there so I’m pretty aware of the barber industry in NYC.
