Just played my first round with the 0311P Gen 6 irons and I am in love
You didn't give and comparison between Gen 5 and Gen 6 on how much better the Gen 6 is going to be
I play Gen 4 right now what would you tell me about Gen6 that makes it much better
Hi John - Fair point! That video was actually intended to be more of a first look than a comparison. We have updated it accordingly. To answer your question, there are many improvements we've been since the GEN4 line and we will have more in-depth examples on our website soon. In the meantime, here are a few of these differences between the GEN5 and GEN6 series:
-Every club in the series showed significant improvement in ball speed, distance, and dispersion.
-Drivers: We have pushed our weighting even further the club head perimeter, increasing our MOI/Forgiveness (3.3% for the 0311 and 2.2% for the 0311 XF), leading to a much smaller dispersion than our previous clubs.
-Irons: Face is now 15% thinner, allowing us to move mass from the face to the perimeter of the club head, increasing MOI/forgiveness (2.2% for 0311 P Irons and 3.7% for 03177 XP Irons)
Hope that helps! ^Chelsea
I’ll be waiting for TXG to review them!
Hopefully that content will be out shortly! 👍 ^Sam
We need a T model ASAP!!
Why does it take at least 2 trips back to manufacturing to get the correct order ?
On #2 sets of irons and two w
Hi Jeff - I am sorry to hear you've had negative experiences. If we can be of assistance, let us know. Which irons did you go with? ^Delaney
Should I cancel my Gen5 order now?
Hi Carey! The GEN5s are amazing. We are currently working our team if we are gong to have any exchange program, but we do not have that as a guarantee at this time. The GEN5s are great clubs, so if you are happy with those, then we highly recommend it! ^Delaney
@@pxgI was kidding though my order has not yet shipped. Will there be an 0311 T in gen6?
Let us know if you need a status update on your order! There is no GEN6 Tour model.
@@CareyBolam There will not be a T model for GEN6 but we have something in the works specifically for our elite players. ^Chelsea
@@pxg I hope it doesn't make me regret my Gen5 purchase
where is model T ??
We won't be having a T option with our GEN6s - we do have some other things in the works coming to you soon that will be an awesome option to the T 😎 ^Delaney
Comparison? G5 vs G6?
I have been 4 driver because I like it better than my gen 5 driver. I felt regression for some reason. I'm going to take a look at the gen 6. I will say that my gen 5 irons are great. I will hit gen 6s.. but.. I will have to be blown away to buy em. I'm in need of a 7 wood so I will buy one along with a 3 hybrid
We can't wait for you to experience the whole GEN6 range! You may well be blown away! 👍 ^Sam
Hi there! The above video was actually meant to be more of a first look than a comparison. We apologize for the miscommunication and have updated the video accordingly. @@geno816 We're excited to hear what you think of the GEN6s ☺ ^Chelsea
@PXG Yeah. Sadly I have to pay for the fitting and the fitting money doesn't go towards the clubs. Where they do that at?
As a golf club manufacturer, you begin to lose credibility when you're claim of increased distance is all because of the change in loft. Your 5 iron is now the loft of a 4 iron. Of course you will gain 10-15 yards.
I know pretty much every company is doing it, but it's ridiculous. I'm tired of the wrongly marked clubs. The number on the club means nothing now. Soon we will have bags with more than half of the clubs being wedges because everything is so strongly lofted.
So my 3,700 dollar full gen 5 bag is now worth 1700? Cool
Yup
Hi there - pricing is always subject to change on our equipment. If we can offer any assistance, let us know and we would be happy to do so. Hope you are enjoying your GEN5 clubs. ^Delaney
No worries, i can buy your old clubs and you can pay extreme price for new set :)
Welcome to golf
