I had the good fortune of meeting Albert Lee and playing a few songs with him on stage at a benefit in Burbank California in the mid 2000s. He's a great player and a really nice guy. I recently bought one of the Albert Lee HH models myself. I love the light weight comfortable body, the body contours, the feel of the neck and fret board.

This guy plays the most tasteful lines, but he does them at speeds I can't even fathom. What a legend! I went to see him last year and was happy just to have seen him but I wasn't expecting him to be so slick and still just as fast. He can still sing just as sweetly too. Would really recommend checking him out, he usually plays in the UK a few times a year

Has there ever been a more humble, talented musician? Ever? I’m a huge Steve Howe, Jeff Beck, Tommy Emmanuel, etc. fan, but Mr. Lee is by far my favorite!

One of my favorite guitarists for sure. I always liked him, then found out that he wrote and played "I Am Just a Country Boy" with Ricky Skaggs...I was very impressed to say the least.

great guitarist- came unexpectedly, out of the blue,
to our small local theatre think it was a cancellation somewhere, with Hogan's Heroes, supporting his daughter's band, unbelievably going round telling people nobody seems to have heard of him - theatre practically empty but he put on a great show - what a pleasure to see him live, couldn't believe my luck. Had seen him some years before with the Everly Brothers in Hereford.

I rather like the Silhouette but Albert's signature model is too bizarre looking for me. He is a phenomenal guitarist who has influenced countless country pickers. Cool guy, very unassuming.....I like that.

Music Man guitars work well for Albert. HIs playing style and their tone is a perfect marriage which is unusual for the capitalist world of suckering in buyers to sound like their mentors. I personally do not care for them and thought Leo Fender went steadily downhill after selling out to CBS. The world is always changing...

Why the he'll did he play for others and not do something on his own. A very very simple man. His music with Hogan heroes is very lively

@@HollowRick Stupid. It's because everyone wanted him to play and record with them. Anyway, if you really know anything about Albert you would know that he does write and perform his own stuff.
