One of the better remakes honestly. Always loved from out of nowhere the final kill is. So satisfying for the viewer.
A classic and i think this was a pretty good remake imo
The story didnt ended like in the original (with like the possibility of mankind being overrun by the undead)
And i specially praise how Barbara had a 180 in terms of personality, she literally went from damsel in distress a full blown Ellen Ripley! Loved it then and i still will!
1968 original is great but I enjoyed the remake as well 😊
@@mikesilva3868 its true the film was the basis for the modern zombie, but the remake helped in aspects in which the original lacked, for example the Zombies themselves they look more ""dead""
@@silverfang1648 true but the original movie is still a classic 😊
@@silverfang1648 ok😊
5:06 Now there's the reason why he gets shot at. It may still be sad to see how he ended but at least it's way better than "shoot first ask questions later" from the old version.
*And also
5:30 Social Distancing, please!
Out of all the remakes and Homages, Savini's Remake is super underrated. I would have loved to have seen him do more zombie flicks but his experience directing the film soured his directing aspirations.
Also wish you showed off some of the uncut deaths, a few of them were pretty gnarly!
1:35 firepoker
2:06 crowbar
3:31 shotgun
4:21 pistol
5:07 machine gun
Dam candyman can do sidekicks like nobodys business lol
"The Candyman Cannn!!"
I really love the 90's remake of Night of the Living Dead
Good remake 😊
All time classic 😎
Hate to say it I like this one more than the original.
Good remake
My all time favorite zombie movie! thanks so much for uploading this count and I can't wait to see what undead carnage you'll count next!
I got this movie on DVD at home, I love how Barbara goes all Carol Peletier mode on the infected and she's so freaking badass!!!
Great remake movie, i really enjoyed a lot of it, and i love Barbara so much and it was great seeing Tony Todd too :D
4:57 Oh look, shooting gallery with zombies. ;b
What's next : whack a zombie, piñata zombie, dart throwing zombie...
;b Joking
Hey look it’s venom
Tony Todd
The one that started the zombie craze.
Very Nice :)
Well that was really awesome
love the original but this is better with killer cast...
It have a better ending than the one of the original.
Awesome remake
I like the remake more than original..better ending and the makeup effect was done by Tom Savini.
No
Nice remake
3:34 and moral of the lesson folks, do not shoot a gas tank close to you that could instantly blast you to oblivion.
anyway this death is kinda one of the dumbest in zombie media tbh..
Patricia Tallman has 11 kills
Tony Todd has 5 kills
She redeemed the hell out of Barbara. Glad she didn't spend most of this movie traumatized and useless until the last minute and even then she gets killed shortly after.
That poor mannequin took a hard blow to the head at the cemetery lol
next will day of the dead s1
Wow!
23/24
Did you really count the worms as victims?😂
This or Dawn I can't recall which one I saw first. I did see this very early in my life. *I was 2 when this came out* But man did I live this better. Barbara made herself useful in this one and the zombies look amazing! Plus I oddly love the music!
Did not like how Barbara was the only one who made out of the group ben should have went with her he only had a shoulder shot
Carnage: Hello & Welcome to Carnage Counts.
On this channel we count deaths in your favorite movies & TV Shows.
So it's safe to say but this will have Graphic Imagery & It's Gonna get Spoiled.
A solid remake. Really grows Barbara and, if I'm being honesty, I'd take this WELL OVER the Dawn of the Dead remake
literally a carnage count
3:33 oops
This is still such a great remake, especially since they turned Barbara into a badass.
Could you please do Resistance 1942/Burning At Both Ends Carnage Counts? Good movie.
A good remake of the great classic of Romero’s. Some might not like the ending of the original, but I think it is fine and it can illustrate one of the problems with the beginning of society collapsing in this early stage of the outbreak and thing to be aware of. It also raises the danger and a scary characteristic of zombies, you could mistake a freshly reanimated corpse as a human until you get close or too late. Nice nods to the original even in small details like the gun used by Barbara is a lever action rifle like in the original by the survivors, albeit the original version had a Winchester rifle while the remake’s is a variant reminiscent of the Henry repeating rifle. Also hitting similar notes to how not everyone responds the same to high stress crisis and survival from a disaster. Some retain the courage and concern to help others, some behave more selfishly or think for themselves and their survival, some crack under the unrelenting stress and fear and bloodshed from the undead. A favorite scene is that bit where Barbara is demonstrating clearly to the other survivors that the zombies are no longer whoever they were before turning and reinforcing the only way to kill them by shooting one zombie at points where a human would have fell or been incapacitated. Should have played that scene with the moments she was yelling to everyone is the zombie dead. XD
Do you think you'll be doing a recount of 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later? Also, a recommend for WWII week: Pearl Harbor (2001).
I didn't think about redoing those but probably should!
A near perfect remake
0:56 why hes bouncing?💀💀💀
5:17
BETTER THAN THE 1968 CONTROVERSIAL ZOMBIE FILM OF THE SAME NAME, THIS 1990 ZOMBIE ACTION FILM REMAKE HAS IT'S BADASS FEMALE LEAD WITH A CLASSIC GRINDHOUSE VIBES! 👭🔫🧟☠️🎞️🎬🎥💯👍
Buddy if the 1968 version didn't exist, you wouldn't be sitting here simping over a female protagonist of the remake film
Maybe that's what Romero wanted the film to be. He did point out the issues with the world back in that day.
This was pretty good remake directed by Tom savivi like tony todd he does great part as ben and i prefer this movie ending than original
Patricia Tallman is so underrated.
Bring me 115!
Is this the 3d one?
Not yet!
Candyman
Didnt you cover this before?
Yes, I'm redoing old videos so they are HD, have intros, credits, etc. Old video was almost 9 years old.
@@CarnageCounts true but those old videos were what made you what you are now.
I like both versions but if i want a proble realistic approach to zombies i go with 69 version of the movie.
You did this already night of the living dead 1993
One of the worst remakes ever.
Who Hurt you?
One of the best
