- Ingredients I used (Serving 1~2)
: 12 ~ 16 shrimp
: 1 stalk green onion
: 1 tbsp chopped garlic
: 1 tbsp chopped ginger
Preparation for shrimp -
: 1 tbsp sake
: Salt & pepper
: Sesame oil
: 1 tbsp katakuri or corn starch
Ebi-Chili sauce -
: 1 tsp doubanjiang
: 2 tbsp ketchup
: 1 tbsp sake
: 1 tsp chicken stock powder(Chinese style)
: 1 tsp sugar
: 1 tsp soy sauce
: 1/2 tsp salt
: 80ml water
Starch mixture -
: 1 tsp katakuri or corn starch + 1 tsp water
Miso soup -
: 600ml water (shrimp stock as seen in the video)
: Remaining green onion
: Some tofu(silk)
: 2 tbsp miso

I will substitute lobster flavored stock for the chicken stock powder, and sriacha for the bean paste.
Why boil the shrimps when they cook so fast in the pan? It makes them rubbery that way and prevents from the sauce to get into them :)

The whole farting thing is a bit troublesome since, i think atleast, that kind of comedy is alot more popular in Japan than places like the Americas. You do you though, as long as you enjoy making your videos.
