Actually Markus is Connor’s predecessor in the rk series and I believe Markus was built for military while Connor was made to be a detective because of Connor is the only leader he either gives up and his programming takes control again if he becomes deviant or he kills himself so cyberlife doesn’t take over his programming.

I actually prefer the #2 Win/Lose options in general for a simple reason - I like how the failed prompts result in a more dynamic fight, both sides gaining and losing the upper hand and almost coming close to victory a few times each, the tide only turning because of a single missed QTE. I think that's much more fun than the short, easy win you get from a perfect combo. Anti-climatic.
I wished that there is a harder difficulty for this game because the difficulty rn is very easy. The fact that there’s a ton of animations for failed QTE is really wasted as we rarely see it since the game is a easy and leads to very short and anti-climatic fights like you said
The biggest skill, ironically, is knowing what you can afford to fail without going straight to an ending. I especially love Control Conner, Lose #2 in this video, because: Connor was clearly winning the fight the whole time, his only obstacle was the metal sheet. And when the time came to finish Markus off with a stomp... he missed, was countered, and the tables turned instantly. Connor was able to improvise a way out by grabbing a metal pole, but once Markus started swinging wildly, Connor wasn’t able to predict his moves anymore, being beaten by his own perfection.
...In other words, Control Connor Lose #2 is great because Connor is a badass even though he lost the fight. That’s REALLY hard to pull off and can’t be done by just failing all the prompts.
This scene would actually be a cool 2 player bit if you had a second controller. A prompt appears, and whoever lands it first has their character succeed at it, and if neither player does anything, it will simply skip and a new prompt will appear. my personal opinion, markus is the best android i mean think about, he was dismantled and broken and dumped into a robot graveyard and then proceeded to put himself back together markus literally refused to die which i think is bad ass. i also like markus fighting style, it’s like a street fighter, brawler, and martial artist all combined i love the way he switches from body slamming and pure raw power to where when he gets in a sticky situation like when he was in the floor and connor was trying to stomp him he dodge and wrapped around him and brought him to the ground but this is just my personal opinion and yes i also know i am about a year late
I absolutely agree how could connor lose after being a better model, having the jump on markus, and has Pistol and still lost also Markus's combat is personally much better
Y'know this is why I bought this game it's just smart in its game design and the storyline is just as good The choices you make can change the entire story which is why you need to think but make it quick
It's amazing right ? I got a ps4 just for this game because my brother's pc couldn't handle the pc version x) Thanks to this game I have my own console xD
There's so much things going on in this fight to point out that makes it the most iconic part in the game. It's why I have found myself coming back to this vid 2 years later to leave another response lol. I like both characters, but I'm more for Markus. I love how in his fighting style he is quick improvise by picking up any objects around him to use as a defense and weapon. Love at how he used the prop in this scene 4:01 to block at 'every' bullet Connor shot out at him. And the way he finishes off defeating Connor is just perfect too. 4:30 It's almost like in response to what Connor says before he dies Markus would reply in his head, 'Yeah, I'll be waiting when we come to meet again.' *walks off coolly* lol Also, not hard for me to imagine why Markus has fighting skills even when being a caretaker before. They also need to know how to 'protect' the one they are taking care of if someone was to hold them hostage or whatever.
I think Markus' fighting prowess is only tangential to his role as a caretaker android because he really isn't one. He was *repurposed* to be a caretaker android, but he wasn't intended to be one originally! Kamski built him as an RK prototype, and when he left Cyberlife due to corporate shenanigans, he'd slapped the home modules on Markus and given him to Carl as a caretaker android so Cyberlife can't get their mitts on him. Of course, the nurse android being able to act as a bodyguard is a huge plus, but in this specific case it's more like a side effect of... basically being a sleeper agent for spreading deviancy.
Markus has like that professional boxer fighting style Conner has the soldier in army fighting style Kara has the not a fighter more of a lover but if you mess with Kara prepare to have a bad time
Connor and Markus almost encourage you to jump into fights due to their skills, strength, and the adrenaline. With Kara you mostly avoid the fights because you aren't as strong and you have Alice to lose. That is why I loved her story the most.
*IT TOOK ME A WHILE TO FIND YOU MARKUS* and why do I find the ending at 4:11 so funny lmao like connor just got knocked out (EDIT : just now realized connor looked like the joker lol
I like how this video shows more outcomes than the ones with more views. However, there are still some outcomes not shown here. Here's all of the possible fight / QTE outcomes: Markus Win : Markus kills Connor with a pipe. (Only one win outcome for "Control Markus") Markus Lose # 1: Connor steps on Markus, then shoots him. (Do nothing right from the start) Markus Lose # 2 : Connor does a leg sweep on Markus, then shoots him 3 times. (Lose at the part where Markus tries to drag Connor on the ground) Markus Lose # 3 : Connor breaks Markus's arm then brings him to the barricade to break his neck (Lose at the punching sequence before the barricade) Markus Lose # 4 : Connor breaks both of Markus's arms, breaks his neck, then picks up a gun nearby to finish him. (Lose at the barricade part at the very end) Connor Win # 1 : Connor kicks Markus to the ground then shoots him 2 times. (Do QTE perfectly right from the start) Connor Win # 2 : Connor breaks both of Markus's arms, breaks his neck, then picks up a gun nearby to finish him. (Miss a few buttons, but still win) Connor Lose # 1 : Markus kills Connor with the metal shield. (Do nothing) Connor Lose # 2 : Markus kill Connor with a pipe. (Lose at the barricade part at the very end) You put "all outcomes" in your title, so this was what I was expecting.
I'm in the process of playing through (and recording) those and the leg sweep from Connor and the execution were absolutely brutal, at least for me. I'd say more than the neck slice from the shield as Markus.
markus may be bulky and be extremely strong but connors style is so fucking brutal in both endings he practically breaks markus bones in the 2nd one and the 1 he just does not give markus a break and is even more brutal the 2nd one was a quick and swift death but the first connor is just rubbing it in that markus aint got shit
Since Markus is an old android, they probably use heavier/cheaper materials to make him unlike Connor that’s a more modern ver. that uses lighter/stronger/expensive material. So by this we can see that Connor is more “flexible” and somewhat faster than Markus. But Markus can hit harder due to his weight and strength
@@dopsgaming8796 keep in mind he has what seems like a fighting style programmed into him specifically to beat deviants he's stated multiple times he was made to hunt deviants and judging from how Connor moved he knew what he was doing and he knew weak points in Markus his flexibility allows him to do very disgusting and brutal things Markus is probably heavier yes but he is probably very acrobatic to say as he wall jumps climbs etc.
Solo Mon although you were kinda right on the part where Markus vs rk900 would be cool cuz there both different types of androids completely so I’d say I have the same interest in both of the battles
@@anactualamateur8618 no rk900 would absolutely annihilate connor after all connor is rk800 the prototype version of rk900, rk900 is more high tech than connor meaning he would win easily so I would see connor and markus vs rk900 in a 2v1 that would be more fair
superbryan005 true. I didn’t think of it from that angle of a 2v1. And I’ve just looked this up: the rk900 is faster, stronger and more resilient while also being equipped with the latest technology. So really I do agree that Connor wouldn’t have much of a chance but I would still like to see there decisions
I'm 3 years late but you're totally incorrect. Markus isn't tougher or stronger, Connor is. He's the most advanced model of Cyberlife. He's way stronger and can withstand more hits, Markus was part of a secret Cyberlife program, sure, but he's nowhere near Connor's level, he's way more advanced. Plus he built himself up from spare parts from a junkyard, Connor is definitely stronger.
Personally, I think that the ending, in which Connor dies trying to defeat Marcus, looks more correct within the framework of the plot, as if it should be so. Moreover, only in this case Connor's last words sound. All other endings of this fight seem to be unfinished.
When I saw the beginning of the fight I went "how are they going to do a fight against two playable characters?" And I was horrified at the "control Markus or control conner" Choice.
imagine an expansion where the androids won the war and connor is still a machine and in the expansion connor infiltrates detroit to take down the androids
finally someone that does all outcomes of this one because EVERYONE AND I HATE THINK THAT THERE ARE 4 ENDINGS BUT IT IS NOT TRUE. You deserve a like for that
I like how Connor fights defensively while Markus fights more offensively. Shows that Connor is a well trained machine but Markus was only a servant machine with brute force fighting style
the androids are designed to recreate pain reflexes (for example being punched in connor's thirium pomp), even though they don't feel it (getting shot in the arm and not even flinching) connor might sound in pain in these scenes, because he was hit in his vital biocomponents (heart, and throat), which are responsible for his voice
Feel bad for anyone who wanted to but couldn't deviate and ended up having to fight to the death liking both characters. I know I would have chosen Markus in a situation like this, but it's interesting to see that Connor's theme is so cool it will always make him look like the hero. Also some of the deaths, like the one where Connor almost gets beheaded by a sheild, are brutal.

My favorite one is where Connor breaks Markus's arm.
That one is brutal af man
My is whem markus beat the hell out of conner
My favorite one is where MArkus destroys Connor’s neck
My favorite is when Markus finally kills Connor.
I don’t know how but I like it when Markus kills Connor any way....
But I can’t ignore my boi Connor though
Connor win 2 was my favourite
Agent Carnage mine too
Yes
Markus needs to win. Humans needs to lose.
When your controller out of batteries
4:00 Captain Detroit
I like the part at 5:20 to 5:23.
Well connor and markus both have john wick mode
1:53 connor my bro
He’s not your "bro"
Markus noooo
Shut up niko.
Niko69 who
Markus my bro. Androids are my broes. Humans can die.
my personal opinion, markus is the best android i mean think about, he was dismantled and broken and dumped into a robot graveyard and then proceeded to put himself back together markus literally refused to die which i think is bad ass. i also like markus fighting style, it’s like a street fighter, brawler, and martial artist all combined i love the way he switches from body slamming and pure raw power to where when he gets in a sticky situation like when he was in the floor and connor was trying to stomp him he dodge and wrapped around him and brought him to the ground but this is just my personal opinion and yes i also know i am about a year late
I absolutely agree how could connor lose after being a better model, having the jump on markus, and has Pistol and still lost also Markus's combat is personally much better
@@saul7466 because story reasons. Though the outcome should very much be Connor favored, they need to have Markus able to win so your choices matter.
Connor's still better
@@HeyItsQuantum actually no, you're just a dickrider
This is what I was looking for !!!
Thank you very much!
Markus say ah!
4:51 5:03 5:11 5:12 5:13 and a oof 5:31
Nah, I think that oof was actually Connor, not gonna lie, both of them have nice reactions
@@adalindenau5035 I've already seen your reply but didn't replied, so yes it was like connor
Y'know this is why I bought this game it's just smart in its game design and the storyline is just as good
The choices you make can change the entire story which is why you need to think but make it quick
It's amazing right ? I got a ps4 just for this game because my brother's pc couldn't handle the pc version x)
Thanks to this game I have my own console xD
All deaths 0:51 2:00 3:17 4:15 6:03 7:35 9:10 10:27
Markus is so brutal I love it ! When Connor just wants to accomplish his mission, Markus is full of anger.
Because Connor is betraying them all. Of course Markus is angry.
@@ali_8996 no he isnt
markus isnt brutal, his skills and combat isnt advannced enough to take connor down easily so he has to attack more forcefully than his potancial
4:30 It's almost like in response to what Connor says before he dies Markus would reply in his head, 'Yeah, I'll be waiting when we come to meet again.' *walks off coolly* lol
Also, not hard for me to imagine why Markus has fighting skills even when being a caretaker before.
Man, this is really awesome! Thank you.
Sans:Hey that my word
If this was a movie and connor remained machine connor wouldve won
4:13 no my boy ;((
0:42 you can see Connor smiling lol
Oh damn I thought I’m the only who witness that lol
Pretty sure that's a grimace
@@ali_8996 yeah he also grimaces when bringing drunk Hank to the bathroom, but a lot of people mistake it for a smile.
That's not a smile lol
Because Markus is weak
4:45 the best fight out of all of them because even though Connor loses he at least puts up a decent fight before losing
seems like it will never be over....
Markus : I can do this all day

This scene is much funnier, when you play Mortal Kombat soundtrack to it.
I just controlled markus and lost as him so i dont fail my mission and aint betraying my boii connor
Damn, you doomed an entire species over one pretty boi.
9:06 is very brutal
There is one more ending if north keeps the detonator for the dirty bomb and gets spared by connor she'll detonate it
*IT TOOK ME A WHILE TO FIND YOU MARKUS*
and why do I find the ending at 4:11 so funny lmao like connor just got knocked out

Connor: Does everything Amanda tells her
Reward: gets replaced
like bro, this is why you should betray Amanda before she betrays you.
It’s pretty much the fate of every machine
Amanda is a machine too, I'd love if you could find Amanda as Connor or Markus and kill her. She stands no chance against either
That is the ending you get for having no empathy for the androids I guess.
Sucks though.
I like how this video shows more outcomes than the ones with more views. However, there are still some outcomes not shown here.
Here's all of the possible fight / QTE outcomes:
Markus Win : Markus kills Connor with a pipe. (Only one win outcome for "Control Markus")
Markus Lose # 1: Connor steps on Markus, then shoots him. (Do nothing right from the start)
Markus Lose # 2 : Connor does a leg sweep on Markus, then shoots him 3 times. (Lose at the part where Markus tries to drag Connor on the ground)
Markus Lose # 3 : Connor breaks Markus's arm then brings him to the barricade to break his neck (Lose at the punching sequence before the barricade)
Markus Lose # 4 : Connor breaks both of Markus's arms, breaks his neck, then picks up a gun nearby to finish him. (Lose at the barricade part at the very end)
Connor Win # 1 : Connor kicks Markus to the ground then shoots him 2 times. (Do QTE perfectly right from the start)
Connor Win # 2 : Connor breaks both of Markus's arms, breaks his neck, then picks up a gun nearby to finish him. (Miss a few buttons, but still win)
Connor Lose # 1 : Markus kills Connor with the metal shield. (Do nothing)
Connor Lose # 2 : Markus kill Connor with a pipe. (Lose at the barricade part at the very end)
You put "all outcomes" in your title, so this was what I was expecting.
I'm in the process of playing through (and recording) those and the leg sweep from Connor and the execution were absolutely brutal, at least for me. I'd say more than the neck slice from the shield as Markus.
@@BlazeGamer206 Will you upload it? If I'm not mistaken, no one has uploaded a real all outcomes video for this QTE yet.
@@steadygrowth6494 I'll try to upload all Connor vs Markus confrontations and their outcomes along with the fight scene as well if possible.
Well at least I’m not the only person who found the extra endings
That spin move where connor takes down markus is so badass
Good job. Thank you
4:40 is my personal favorite
Man markus likes using a sheet of metal or a metal stick. And Conner likes using guns
markus may be bulky and be extremely strong but connors style is so fucking brutal in both endings he practically breaks markus bones in the 2nd one and the 1 he just does not give markus a break and is even more brutal the 2nd one was a quick and swift death but the first connor is just rubbing it in that markus aint got shit
I think by sparing North shows how Connor was a deviant all along but just didn't want to believe it
2:00 gives me horrible flashbacks of when my mum did the same thing... lucky I didn’t die
Damn man, hopefully I didn’t leave any permanent effects on your body cuz it’s kinda brutal
Or maybe your mom is trained professional, then I think it’s kinda fine

I'm curious to see what would the RK900 would do if he was my in this fight scene.
Solo Mon Markus wouldn’t have much of a chance, i would rather see Connor vs RK900
@@anactualamateur8618 well ya I agree Connor Vs rk900
The dirty bomb ending is the best, I wish Markus had triggered it as soon as Jericho came under attack, so many Deviants would have been saved.
Yup that’s a missed opportunity to add the decision in since the bomb is introduced just before the attack
“Looks like only one of us can succeed”
dude markus with those tae kwon do jumping spinning kicks was sick. i like conor being a machine best.
2:47 and 2:53 i thought i was the only one to match those hits with the music playing perfectly with the hits
My Friend: how do you know these moves
Me: 👀
Also me: Detroit become human
Him: wait what
His smile connor is smiling 😂 0:42
Markus: I’m tougher and stronger and taller than Connor I can beat him
Connor: Literally beats up Markus
On the Connor win part by the way
I'm 3 years late but you're totally incorrect.
Ahhhh watching Connor die hurts more than I realized haha

Personally, I think that the ending, in which Connor dies trying to defeat Marcus, looks more correct within the framework of the plot, as if it should be so. Moreover, only in this case Connor's last words sound. All other endings of this fight seem to be unfinished.
When I saw the beginning of the fight I went "how are they going to do a fight against two playable characters?" And I was horrified at the "control Markus or control conner" Choice.
10:54 blue temple calm

imagine an expansion where the androids won the war and connor is still a machine and in the expansion connor infiltrates detroit to take down the androids
Damn that would be cool af man. But usually these kinds of games don’t get any dlc or sequels
I like how Markus keep parry Connor’s gun with a pipe
finally someone that does all outcomes of this one because EVERYONE AND I HATE THINK THAT THERE ARE 4 ENDINGS BUT IT IS NOT TRUE. You deserve a like for that

the subtitles that you added in the edit are a bit broken, but better than nothing.
Why dose Connor sound like he’s in pain when he dosen’t feel pain cause he’s a mechine
Detroit become human.
@@itsshrimp91What dose that mean you didn’t answer my question
the androids are designed to recreate pain reflexes (for example being punched in connor's thirium pomp), even though they don't feel it (getting shot in the arm and not even flinching)
connor might sound in pain in these scenes, because he was hit in his vital biocomponents (heart, and throat), which are responsible for his voice
The androids sometimes make ah and oof noises cause the damage is also directed at their sound systems
I feel like if you wanted to deviate you had tons of opportunities to get the option, heck I had it but for some reason I liked machine Connor more
3:56 that’s a kata guruma for whoever wants to know

@@tomatoashin1953 John Wick fan but judo always interested me and as weird as it sounds I actually watched a lot of people perform judo throws on youtube way before I even saw the movies and practiced some on my friends lol, I have sadly never managed to actually begin training because I either didn't have time or it was closed. It's still kinda interesting to see moves in games and movies and know the name of them, you know?
@@pusalache1776 Nothing wrong with that dude, I totally get you. Judo is pretty tough, and it has a steep learning curve. But if you start off with something else, like BJJ or wrestling, then your in much better shape for judo IMO. Unfortunately, most people don't have that option or the time, so self training is pretty common.
Tomatoa shin thanks for the advice, I’m planning to go soon tho hope I’ll atleast get to see how it is

I like how Connor chooses to just fist fight Markus, when his gun literally falls a few inches away from him. Easily could’ve gotten rid of Markus by grabbing his gun and shooting him.
Also, for some reason, hearing Connors groans of pain makes me sad. He sounds so innocent, even though he’s a killing machine. 😭
