I watch all your hiking/climbing videos but just found this one. Amazing hiking and scenery on these two peaks, I never get tired of those views and learn something on every adventure. Thanks a million for sharing them!
Very cool channel. Thank you. Good to see you have such great weather. I’ve been weathered out of my Banner/Ritter attempts Every. Single. Time. Hopefully someday…
Thank you for the kind words, I'm glad you have been enjoying the vids, and thanks for the sub! Sorry to hear about your experiences not working out on these peaks. This was 2021 which was a super low snow year, and we did this mid July, I have always had worse luck later in the season, August has never treated me well.
Yes, Twin island lakes are the ones on the left side of the screen, the Ritter lakes are in the bottom of the frame. Have you ever been back there? I haven't but think it would be really cool and far less busy than the lakes on the other side.

You are very welcome. I think Ritter is the coolest summit I have ever been on, if you get the chance to head into the volcanic range, do it.
What an incredible view!
Thanks, a the second most prominent peak in The Sierra you can see for miles, I highly recommend this mountain.

happy to see others wearing helmets, it's just so easy to do. looks like a fun trip!
Did Sierra High Route, what a beautiful familiar sight!
Nice, that must have been an adventure!
@@Wanksteez Yes... 5 weeks of solitude in beautiful Sierra! Crosscountry trekking is so much different from trail hiking...
4.17 - Twin Island Lakes and Bench Canyon?))

@@Wanksteez Yes, Sierra High Route takes you to Twin Island Lakes. After that - Bench Canyon, Blue Lakes and Foerster Pass...
@@Wanksteez It is not busy at all, but, if you deside to venture there, be careful descending the waterfalls west of Ritter Range.
Mr. Wankowicz, did you ever play ultimate frisbee?
A tiny bit in high school, but never seriously, why do you ask?
@@Wanksteez Just wondering.
