    Congrats Grisha. I am surprised with the ref too. Super nice...there you go, the universe fixing all the screwups of the past refs for you! LOL.
    I think you surely had something to do with the poor guy's back giving up! Hope he's OK.
    Nicely done man. Super nice video as always. Really loving your formula.
    Cheers!

    How come you ended up into semifinals if you lost all matches in round robin? Can someone explain how does the UTR Pro tournament work and its rules please? Thanks.

    • @beniciostreamt9550
      @beniciostreamt9550 Рік тому

      There are 4 Groups of 5 so in total 20 players every place each group plays a semifinal and a final to see who is the best 1st 2nd 3rd 4th and 5th place

    I got sick of burning holes in the toes of my Asics. I switched to Yonex Eclipson the grip on these are 10x tougher. In the time I have been wearing these Yonex, I would have gone through 3 pairs of Asics.

    What strings do you use and what tension? Awesome videos as always !

  • @azmo1338
    @azmo1338 Рік тому

    Congrats - well done! Like the the way you document and comment your journey!
    One question about the string tension (from an absolute amateur :P): Wouldn't it work to string 1-2kg higher than usual, play an hour or so to bring it down to the regular level and then being able to play with it more than one match?

    • @gladiatorstribe
      @gladiatorstribe  Рік тому +1

      It could technically work but as strings don't lose the tension evenly. One string might be more loose than the next one. Therefore with loss of tension you also lose the feeling.

    Have you tried Solinco confidential yet? I don’t know if you’ve settled back on adrenaline but if you haven’t I highly recommend confidential. Seems like a string that you’d like bc it’s control is insane.

      @gladiatorstribe  Рік тому +1

      I really like it. Using the Tecnifibre Razor Soft. Actually quite similar to the confidential!

    Just because you lose to someone doesn't mean you're worse than them. Of all your loses, I don't see anyone that you can't beat. You got great footwork and great strokes. I think if you play them more, you'll understand how to beat them in time. I think they are a bit more experienced in playing matches and I think you just need more matches under your belt. Nobody stands out as incredible. Your last opponent seemed like he wanted to pull the ripcord because he was losing, not his back. I think he should have finished the match, if you lose 1-6, so be it. In matches it's not about Winning and Losing, it's all about Winning and Learning.

    • @Bono9850
      @Bono9850 Рік тому +1

      I think footwork is one of his lesser qualities. If he is more on his toes and assertive with the footwork he’s gonna be in better positions way more often. His strokes are great, backhand and forehand. Slice needs more work. He plays a little like Botic van de Zandschulp with those power strokes and serve.

    • @shipwreck8847
      @shipwreck8847 Рік тому +1

      @@Bono9850 I think the main take away from my perspective is that he's got a really well rounded game. And the opponents he loses to are not as polished as he is, but I think that's more just because they might have more matches under their belt and are a bit more experienced. I would love to see Grish get more experience at the net, sometimes he hits balls that look like they are going out but he still reaches to hit them. But overall, I don't think these loses mean anything as he still seems to be growing as in learning. It's much different than just rallying and getting rhythm balls.

    • @gladiatorstribe
      @gladiatorstribe  Рік тому

      Thanks a lot for your feedback! Experience is definitely one key aspect in tennis in general and I definitely need more of it. When it comes to the volleys that look like they're going out. It's just the angle of the camera that might make it see like they are but they're actually going in.

    • @shipwreck8847
      @shipwreck8847 Рік тому

      @@gladiatorstribe The camera angle can be tricky to see. Good eye Grish. But also, you don't want to take that chance that it lands in. Looking forward to your next video. I love your progression, I see your game evolving and climbing.
