Del pucket is also a very good cigarbox guitarist iv actually made my first one its not perfect but it works I cant stop playing it you can use one finger and fret all 3 stings and make a tune there so vesitile but finding big enough cigar boxes can my quite a challenge
@@TAFishing yer the history behind the cigar box guitar is very interesting! They were made by poor people living on the streets they just knock together a guitar with any scap they could find and would play them to earn money there great for blues music alot of these modern cigar boxes now people use old bolts or freded bar as seen on joshes guitar in the vid to kinda keep the design true to there origins
Del is excellent. I've just finished building my first CBG and learned a huge amount from him. You're right about the larger cigar boxes too, or at least in UK!

I just spent over a grand on a new acoustic guitar. If only I’d seen this video first i could have just bought a wooden wine box and made one myself 🤣
