Honesty I only give Reese a couple of years in the league before her questionable skill level wears thin and teams recruit a more versatile player. She's very stiff in the back, no vertical jump, shoots from the shoulder and doesn't have great footwork.. So reminds me of first year 8th & 9th graders I've coached. I'd like to see a 3rd party statistician go through all her games and count how many under the rim fouls she never got called for on both ends of the floor. How many were incorrectly given rebounds, and how many rebounds never touched the rim from her own shots.

The issue is simple: Reese is taking more shots than she should. She's not good enough to attempt 10, 13, 15 shots per game. She's shooting a league-worst % at her position, so this shouldn't happen. She has no wherewithal whatsoever. She cant pass the ball to lead to better offense for the team for anything. I get her position, but if she cant shoot.... Simple, Clark is an incredible team player involving and encouraging her team mates. The whole team and the coach have a different mentality and it is starting to come alive. Humility, encouragement, work ethic, unity and unselfishness is how the Fever is playing. Sides is starting to make better coaching decisions. Then their is Reese. She is a good player but not at the level of Clark. Reese does not play to make her team better but plays for herself. The coaching is abysmal, not putting Cardosa on the court longer is rediculous. Cardosa was the star player in last seasons College Championship win. She had an awesome season, better than Reese. Cardosa's coach in college Dawn Staley made her a great player. I watch wnba only for 1 reason, CC. The growth and gelling of that team is incredible. Its like watching soccer when Pele comes to town.. Reese has great potential. But her skill level isn’t what everyone claims. They only post her baskets and defensive rebounds and people who don’t watch the game only see her baskets and boards. But she averages 50 or lower at 5 or less feet. Reese must hone her agility skills and go back to fundamentals. She can be all time great. Her skill and talents are not as honed as CC and instead of working out during the break like CC did she went on vacation to Paris. DD a made-up stat line. There's a mainstream bias due to it always being brought up. It's unimpressive to get 10/10 (pt, rb,) so more context is needed. We're looking at not barely getting a DD, but maybe 25/12... and several assists?? We could come up with many many contrived stat lines; the DD isn't the only one, nor is it the most impressive.

I do think theres something to be said overall about Kardosos playing time. Look a this point during the All Star and Olympic break Clark worked on making herself and her team better while still getting some rest and having some fun. They don’t see the two and three misses that equals more rebounds that sadly are offensive boards. Reese is shooting a decent percentage if she was an outside shooter. But she averages 50 or lower at 5 or less feet. Reese must hone her agility skills and go back to fundamentals. She can be all time great. Her skill and talents are not as honed as CC and instead of working out during the break like CC did she went on vacation to Paris. One wants to be great and famous while one is willing to work and earn the accolades.

Cardoso is play more minutes... when Chicago Sky is IN the game... When Chicago is OUT of the game when losing more than 12 points or 20 points then AR will SUCK up all the minutes... This is not good for Cardoso player development. NOTED: When Fever got blow out during the beginning of the season... CC still rack up a lot of minutes as learning curves and seeing more defensive scheme from other team. Christine is NOT stupid like others seeing her... She wants more REPS for her CORE team... I'm watching the Q&A, and the energy, body language and nuance says more than the court plays. The coach looks bored. Reese and Cardozo look worn out and there is no energy between the two players. If they keep this pretense up the WNBA will lose everything.

DD a made-up stat line. There's a mainstream bias due to it always being brought up. It's unimpressive to get 10/10 (pt, rb,) so more context is needed. We're looking at not barely getting a DD, but maybe 25/12... and several assists??

I do think theres something to be said overall about Kardosos playing time. But the game he quotes is false. she didnt get as much time cause she was in foul trouble pretty early. there is something bad going on with that team tho. i have noticed recently they have been passing to Reese under the basket as much as before. Its a problem but understandable. Its something that the coaches need to work out. Both to get Reese to make those easy shots and get rest of team to trust her again to make those shots.

Look a this point during the All Star and Olympic break Clark worked on making herself and her team better while still getting some rest and having some fun. I haven’t seen nor heard one person say that Reese did the same. Reese should have been in the gym working on her shooting. Was she it doesn’t look like it. Ok Reese can rebound but is that enough when you only have a limited number of players. Also since Cardoso doesn’t get much play time it risks her not making the team next year.
