5" Excalibur Platinum Canister Shells By World Class Fireworks (Shot All 24 Shells)

- What's up Pyro's, today we take a look at 24 Excalibur Platinum 5" canister shells by World Class. Now I have always had the 4" Excal's every year for the 4th of July the past 5 years so I know what to expect from them and I can compare them to other shells kits I shoot. I would say the effects and breaks in these 5" shells are better than the traditional 4" shells by little bit. There are longer lasting effects and better spread in these shells compared to the 4" Excal's. If I had a choice to buy a case of these 5" Excal's Platinum or the traditional 4" Excal's I would pick the 5" shells every time. Let me know what you Pyro's think in the comments below.

Let me know if you think these 5" Excalibur Platinum shells are better than the traditional 4" Excalibur's!
Personally i think the platinum are over hyped. I paid 80 for them and 50 for 4 inch and other then color the 4 inch ones are better
They are way better !!
@Tyler Neal no not better than death shells but the platinums are 100% better than the original 4" cans. Both are good but if you're not paying much more grab the platinums 👍👍
Deaths arnt super great anymore from what ive heard
how about you tell us? You shoot the 4" excal's every year, you would be as close to an expert as they come. Did you notice any differences?
Nice filming. I love how Clear it is compared to a lot of other fireworks videos.
Got them last year, i thought they were great decent 5inch shells, they were definitely setting off car alarms in my neighborhood.
You must have loved do that! lol Yeah, I like this shell kit as it was above average for consumer fireworks.
awesome those are really good man
love your videos. Keep um comin
Thanks marquette hooper, I will try to do so as long as I can afford it.
Slightly louder but that's the only difference thanks for the demo pyro brother BOOM💥👍
Yeah, so if the 4" Excal's are cheaper then I would rather get them over these 5" Excal's.
@@BigTPyro the exact reason I went for the 4” this year. You have phenomenal demos Big T.
cant go wrong with a box of these
I would agree DH-Pyro!
Some really nice breaks
Yeah, for being an Excal shell, most were good breaks.
I like the Excalber
Nice 🏆 🏆
I am looking forward to shooting these. I have a case of them. Also a case of Pyro Demons Demon Shells, case Ganja Killa Shells and a case of Calaveras Bomba de la Muerte Shells
You got a big shell selection, so how many tubes you going to be shooting them out of?
@@BigTPyro Total shots will be 252 with 228 of that being in the finale. I will end up with just a few extra but not many
There doesn't seem to be a huge difference between the two. Great comparison. I wouldn't be surprised if they jump to 6 or 7 inch shells next season lol
Yeah, the 5" seemed slightly better and the variety of effects were better than the 4" shell kit. And I hope they don't continue to go up in size as then they will cost more for the same composition.
@Big T Pyro the 5 inch Growlers are really good
I know, many have told me to try them out so I might have to get them to do a demo on.
Finally gave and got these this year !
I read that the longer the tube the higher it will go, I imagine like the barrel of a firearm. I also read that each tube should only be used 6 times, after that there is a higher probability of the tube failing. Anyway, thats what I read, I don't know this from experience or anything.
I just bought box today the one tube a lot shorter I’ll be using those tube for Roman candles lol I have about 25 hdpe tube from pyro boom lol
Weird that the ones i got today the bottoms are all just cardboard and pretty sure all my tubes are the same size
I think they are just about the same maybe a little bit louder but that's it give me the regular ones everyday
Yeah, what ever is a cheaper kit then either would be good to have in the stash.
These are made in the same facility as pyro demon shells. Exactly the same design pattern on their lift side.
Well most canister shells come out of one or two factory's so I'm not surprised they have the same lift paper on different brands of shells.
I went to the store to pick up these but instead ended up going with The growlers.
Let me know how those turn out as other Pyro's praise those growler shells.
Had the same thing tubs were different sizes I think they just put the wrong tub in the box’s
Some Pyro's said that could be from the Growler kit or it could be just a manufacturing error somehow.
I think they cut the tubes down to save some weight. Mine were that way too
The 5 inch are way better with tons of new effects and colors. One thing though. In my box the first two sleeves the shells weighed in right(160g and above) and everything looked good. On sleeves 3 and 4 the weight was way down(135 to 150g) and the cardboard plugs were all jacked up with clay leaking out of them and glue everywhere. We will see how they look in the air but I wasn't real happy with that BS.
I wonder if that was a shipping issue or if you got a bad kit. Let me know how they do after you shoot those last 2 sleeves.
@@BigTPyro It wasn't shipping it was QC. They all went fine but I did notice the heavier shells had bigger more symmetric breaks
So close to buying this but it's so fucken expensive 😩😩😩
I can see what I'm missing now
There’s a video comparing the composition between the two and the Platinums have more. I believe most of the platinums were around 40-48g and the regular excals never broke 40.
I was going to assume they had more stars or break charge as they seemed a bit better than the 4" Excal's
That's weak on both shells. Raccoon shells regularly come in at around 58 grams and they are cheaper
@@bigmacfullerton7870 which raccoon canisters, i tried the xtra large canisters and they smacked for sure.
@@24kMason I like all their shells but the 5 and 6 inchers seem to hit a little harder/bigger than the 4's although the 4's are very good too. Have you seen their new stuff for this year? It looks awesome.....tails mines and other cool stuff coming
@@bigmacfullerton7870 I'd say raccoon fireworks Nishiki Blast are on of my all time favorite cans. But in Wisconsin they're definitely not cheaper than the excals. $80.00 for a 6 pack of the Nishiki Blast.
So your kit has a growler sleeve in it for some reason... I got cases of the platinum and growers and the growlers have the short tubes, I also found that the growler kit doesn’t have any brocades or willows
Well, thanks for the info but are the growlers only 4"? But no shells is recommended to shoot out of a 10" tube so why make them smaller.
@@BigTPyro both are 5s
My tubes in my Platinum box were short too. Make the shells longer and raise the price while shortening the tubes. You know with the shipping issues and prices these 5 6 and 7 inch shells make less and less sense everyday. They are heavier with all that empty cardboard. They should just go back to 4 inch shells
Still going to be 60g just more cardboard and a price mark up . Regular excal packaging 4/24 platinum 3/24
You can get the 6/24 per case on both 4" and 5" Excal's if you can find them or they both have the 4/24 and 3/24 cases as well. I would say which ever is cheaper would be a nice addition to the stash.
Very few consumer shells have anything near 60g. The plats are in the 40’s and the regular excals are in the low to mid 30’s.
Seemed good to me, the price is just not right over here $150 a box if shopping retail
Yeah, these 5" shells or the regular 4" Excal's are similar enough to get whatever is cheaper.
@@BigTPyro I got it for $190 out here in Cali. It’s illegal but happy 2 get my hands on em
I can get u them for 135 out here in Cali ???
@@erick300k they got u beat over here it’s $120 I’d pay $60 max for a box 😂
Looking at this today they're 349.99 a box by me lmao
I'll stick to the original 4-in Xcals, they old school and hit just as good.
Excals are boring with the same 3 effects over and over again. Try something new like some Raccoon shells. You will be pleasantly surprised with the new colors and effects offered in today's newer shells
@@bigmacfullerton7870 like I said I'm old school, but thanks for the heads up and I do have newer shells, but I do like Excals very much.
@@bennycru Well that's good that they make you happy because the price is right on them. I shot them for so long I got tired of them. I guess I'm not as loyal to my firework makers as some. I will switch brands in a heart beat lol
@@bigmacfullerton7870 I hear you bro and nothing wrong with that lol 👊👍
Uhh, quality control with World Class is not the best, shorter mortar tube, different color bottom caps on the shells, mislabeled effects on there shells which there known for both in the 4 and 5-inch shells. I would only buy Excals if I was getting a great deal on them. Guess I’m very fussy when it comes to buying fireworks. Thanks for the video review! 👍
I totally agree with you and I'm glad I'm not the only one. While World Ass does make some good shit I have had numerous issues with them. One year I brought Excals over to my bro in laws and one blew up 20 feet in the air and set his hill on fire. I had some Ninja shells(Excal rewraps made by World Ass) with all the lift charge leaking from them in the box that I decided not to use. Last year a Toxic 500 gram cake that was totally busted up inside. Had to re-glue the whole cake or it would have been disaster and this year my box of Excal Plats. Sleeves 1 and 2 looked great and weighed in right. Sleeves 3 and 4 have clay leaking out of them with totally jacked up cardboard plugs with glue everywhere and they are way light. Some as much as 25 grams light. That is 100% BS for what they are charging for them.
Yeah, World Class does not have the best quality control as its known that they mislabeled almost every Excal shell but I have had them the last 5 years so it does not feel right to not have them on the 4th of July. Maybe I can replace them with the masters or another shell kit if I find a good one that's cheaper.
@@BigTPyro They should be just fine. I just got a bad box. It wasn't shipping. Looked like a pro made sleeves 1 and 2 and then they handed it off to a newbie for sleeves 3 and 4. Or maybe dude smoked some opium on his lunch break....I don't know. I don't know if they even get a break but anyway, I will let you know how they do after lighting them but yours should be good.
The 4” I had this year, were a mess, the fuses were either sticking out an extra foot or just below the top of the tube.
The 5” seem to hit harder but that’s the only difference and I’ve shot both off
I like the wider variety of effects the 5" shell kit has compared to the 4" kit.
The 5 inch have totally different colors and effects than the regular Excals. It's not even close to the same
How much?
I paid $80 for this kit last year. Right now I can find it for $90-$150 per kit this year.

You know it BBQRando!!!!
I got way too many duds out of the box that I got! I won't be buying them again
That's not good to hear but if that happened to me I would not get them again next year myself!
