- I wanted to play my videos from the USB in the Pioneer player in the Starex but was having no success at first. Before this I was only watching from the DVD. I went online to search for answers and even asked in a Facebook Group but no solutions. After trying many methods I finally managed to get it working and this video shows how.

hey for anyone who has a pioneer 5850bt do this: download the video from youtube. and after use a program called AVC (any video converter) choose the format mobile nokia N, and in the settings change the size to 640x480, in quality choose highest, and audio 128kps. and your pioneer will read all the videos again.

hello, but you are mirroring from top device to the stereo. i have the same model, and the problem is the resolution of the new mp4 format. when you download a video should be cropped to the size the radio will recognize.
I select a button on screen of the head unit to either cropped or display full screen. Not the best unit but that’s the workaround.

I have same problem while playing video through USB. Which video formats are supported through in USB?
MP4 but it’s odd as some files will play and some won’t.
