Great vid & cheers. Bought one of these about 6 months back, happy with it over all sound wise, bluetooth, reverse cam etc but can't get my Samsung S8 to connect to it (using the USB cord) as video input in order to run GPS & Google maps programs. Any ideas or suggestions?
This unit doesn’t have android auto that’s why :)

@@TheFittingBay Ok, went into settings one last time (been trying for phones to fix this), re-did Developers Options (tapped build 7 times), plugged the S8 into the usb from the unit & after I followed prompts from the phone, viola, the phone screen is up & crystal clear on the unit screen.

@@scart-69 Hey! Trying this too. Can you confirm that you are using the AVH205BT? Trying to set it up with Android Auto as you mentioned but can't get it to mirror screen.

Whats the difference between this unit and the Pioneer AVH-G215BT ??
Sketched Drafting & Design Essentially the same unit. This model does have a few extra features like :
- works with iPod / iPhone through USB
- 13 brand graphic equaliser
- multi colour customisation
Other than that they’re pretty much the same. This model has 3 RCA pre out and the other model has 2.
So this is basically just a slightly better model. Main features though, they’re the same (CD dvd fm am bluetooth) etc

Hey bro. I got this deck brand new and for some reason the “ Restore Settings” and “Touch panel calibration” is greyed out and won’t let me click on it. Also when I go into the Theme settings the illumination button is not there for me, and I have this exact model you’re using. If you could reach out to me and maybe see what could be wrong, it would help heaps man. Thanks 👍

Hey brother how to you clear the memory for a new phone hookup.
hey mate I like my unit had it about 2yrs now. Do you know how to save your phone contacts in alphabetically form without having to invert them everytime you turn the unit on? Have tried highlighting the star key but this did'nt work.
I think you need a memory chip in the back of the unit or something around the lines of that. You probably noticed your clock resets every time too.

William Hung Hi mate the only possible way, is phone mirroring and it mightn’t even work. I’d be looking at a high end unit with HDMI in. But for this, you can try USB (Micro/C) depending what you’re phone has to HDMI then a HDMI to RCA converter then plug the RCA output into the input on the Unit. This is not 100% gonna work, depending on the phone and the unit. But this is the only way so it’s worth a shot if you already have the radio.

Hi, please would you be able to help me with this problem. Every time I try and connect my phone to the blue tooth the screen is showing memory full. So what does that mean and how can I fix it? Please help me man . Thank you
You have to delete other connected devices in order to connect. Hope it helps:)

Hi no matter what i do i cannot get the Steering wheel control to light up, even the system reset is greyed out.
jordan cameron Hi mate. Press and hold the home button. Unit will power off to blank screen. Press home button once and unit will power back on to home screen. Go directly to settings and SWC settings

@@TheFittingBay Hi decided to uninstall and restart , even pulled fuse from back of stereo. same problem. greyed out SWC RESET and CALIBRATION

Teodoro Diaz not on this one mate! Only on a lot of the alpine units (ilx-702d, ilx-107, halo 9 etc)

Tevitatash Aholelei This unit doesn’t not have Android mirror link but it does have a video input so you can go buy USB C (or whatever plug your phone has) to HDMI then a HDMI to RCA converter box then plug in the RCAS and you can mirror the phone.
