Aloha Al, just recently came across your vids as one popped up after watching Dan corigans channel. I like seeing transition park skating more than everything else and as I’m older and in Hawaii just seeing all these mainland parks blows my mind! I’m originally from Ventura and they have the worst luck building a skatepark than any city apparently and it would be cool for you to go skate the avenue park and roast it. More press needs to motivate these kooks in the Ventura city council that are seemingly anti skateboarding. Anyways Ojai and Oxnard have parks but I don’t see many vids on them either. Stoked on your channel and your bag of tricks! Anyways it would be cool for you to do a vid on Ventura skate scene. Maybe talk to the guys at black hole skateshop on the Ventura Ave.
So far board quality that I have been impressed with are Krooked, Polar, Baker, FLIP, and Santa Cruz. Think the worst so far for me has been Powell (not their reissues or flight decks).
Powell Peralta was low-grade back in the day.... Never fell for it....
