I think the disconnect is that in many other instances a punch on the waist band is perfectly legal. Amir Khan KO'd Zab Judah with an almost identical shot to the waist band ua-cam.com/video/w4g-WfRNbZ4/v-deo.html . For example: ua-cam.com/video/hyrppbZVXyE/v-deo.html (the first 10 seconds of the video the ref clearly states it's legal). The rest of the video is Pauli Malignaggi level race baiting, and I'm not interested in that.
The issue is that the rules aren't consistently applied, and it robbed Daniel Dubois of the only chance he would ever have to force Usyk to face adversity in that fight.

@@tarasshelestyuk залежить від того, хто був би рефері та боковими суддями. Країна країною, але хто суддів наймав, тому вони зазвичай і допомогають. В кікбоксингу так. А бокс більш грошовий і більш корумпований вид спорту

На відео чітко видно пупок що значить одне, Дюбуа вдарив Усика навіть не частично нижче пояса а конретно нижче, чим порушив правила це раз, два він також мав час перепочити і не він получив нижче пояса, але після цього раунда він почав боксувати ще гірше ну і чим це все закінчилось всі ми бачили, моя думка що Дюбуа зробив це навмисно
