@celeronproductions Most of these engines don't idle perfectly, just they way they are. But as long as it stays running, but slow enough not to engage the clutch, it's fine.
The primer was Blackfriars Red QD90 Anti Rust Primer For Metal which was applied to everything. The green was Buckingham green gloss from B&Q which was overcoated with a clear coat lacquer made by International Japlac The red is Blackfriar QD90 which is rust/petrol/oil resistant. No clear coat. Engine sprayed with black heat reistant BBQ paint. This isn't original colour but looks good. Everything sprayed with compressor.

what paint did you use on the engine and cowling is it heatproof and also does the paint on the mower matter if its heatproof
