Growing with families in a school garden!

‘I’m growing food at home!’ We were happy to hear that several families are gardening at home. There were glees of excitement as kids showed their parents their garden at Parkview Elementary Open House. The tour began with a fruit salsa tasting and a book of kid friendly recipes. Before entering the garden families were greeted by Mr. Hornworm who had just taken a trip from Godfrey Lee Middle garden for his debut. As they entered the garden they were met by Mr. Josh for a garden tour and discovered the diverse variety of plants growing sampling along the way. Students hard work through the school year and summer was on display, they were so proud and so were we!
