Make an "A" frame out of 2 4x4s and put the rope to the top of it...then a chain straight down to the base....it will transfer the pulling power straight up with leverage and pop it right out.
I don't know if I will explain this right, but I will try. Next time you are in this situation use a chain and find a piece of pipe the chain will drop through, wrap around the bottom of the stump and back up through the pipe hooking the chain to the top of the pipe. When you pull the pipe will slide to the base and there will be NO slipping, it works amazing. Go Korean tractors! I almost bought a Deere, but after doing a LOT of research I bought a 25 hp TYM. It has a Kukje engine. lol I know! I researched them and they have been made by Cummins since 1959 and are an ALL mechanical fuel deliver system. So I saved 4 grand on the tractor over the Deere, the taxes were a grand less and my TYM is all cast iron not aluminum. Almost double the capacity. As far as anyone ripping it for a plastic hood and fenders, you replace your steel ones and I may just fiberglass mine and paint it. Picky picky picky about the wrong things!
If you run that strap over an old truck wheel placed upright by the stump the roots will break off a lot easier being pulled upward out of the ground instead of just sideways. I do that ripping out scrub trees around my property
You guys crack me up! Good job getting the stumps out! I have meant small trees to get out along our trail and around the property, it just needs to stop raining!
I owned a Kioti CK25 for 15 years. I always thought it had enough HP. Problem was weight.....just not enough. It spun the tires under load. Engine was pulling, but the tires just couldn't find purchase. But, it was the heaviest tractor in it's class at the time (vs. Kubota or JD) which is why I bought it. Wish I still had it.
Lucky for you. You had your sidekick there to make sure it got done, right on my other thing I might’ve tried was take two log chains and put an old tire in between the two log chains, and then pull like hack 😊
It's pretty amazing how something that small can hang on. Even my tractor struggles with small stumps like this. I usually just hop on the Case 'Stump Buster 5800', grab a cold Busch, and give those stumps the middle finger.
Are you still happy with you Kioti? Would you get another? Was looking at that same tractor today wondering if it was big enough to do what I wanted. Looks like it did pretty good!
I absolutely love that tractor. I dont think ill ever get rid of it and ive had zero issues. Ive been using the past three days and it never lets me down.
I have a little advice. When trimming and removing old bush. It’s best to get the bush WET beforehand! Know what I mean? It’s always better working with wet bush.
First off, the country used to be fed by farmers using tractors under 20HP! So of course 25HP is enough 😋 Trying to pull a bush with a truck and tractor was an Interesting comparison... I personally have heard of stories of people being able to pull stumps out with trucks, but have never seen it happen.
Traction, which means, tractor weight and tires. Having a backhoe really makes for better traction for sure. My JD 2025R without the backhoe is pretty much useless for any pulling, or even loader work. 25HP more than enough power though. All about them weight. (wheel weights and fill those tires) It would be like a new machine with all sorts of abilities!
Well least the spicer house is completely bush free. 😅 even light bush free lol. I totally forgot you own a kioti 😂 Great job bud this was a entertaining to watch like always. Cheers 🍻
It isn't the vehicle rhat failed. You use chain not a tow strap to pull out trees and bushes. 2 flexible objects, shrub and strap, will never pull out a large bush/tree.
@@SpicerDesignsLLC So when I bought mine the salesman actually told me the motors in our 2610s is the engine that they used in the 35hp tractors its just de-tuned. He laughed and said now you didn't hear that from me! I have not done mine because of voiding the warranty and I talked with one of the mechanics who told me it's pretty much turning up the injector pump BUT if the tractor goes in for any warranty work of any kind the first thing they check is to see if it was turned up.
@@joking2635 i asked my salesman about that as well. Kind of a nice selling point for the 2610. Buying the same tractor as the 3510 but for less money. Good to know about the warranty.
25 HP was enough for an 8N ford or a Farmall BN tractor. However, today the tractors are made of plastic, and not heavy enough to put the power in the ground. So you need to have a higher HP tractor to get the tractor weight to do a similar job.
I love my 25HP ck2620. Sure it doesnt remove massive bushes, but a 1600lb lift capacity is no joke for my firewood operation! That far exceeds any of the american made junk out there!! 💪💪🚜🚜
@@Dorchwoods i think i am. We have hills on our new property and it does seem under powered on them when im pulling the grading scraper or brush hogging.
i want to get a SSQA 1/2'' plate and weld a ripper (single) blade to it. maybe 2 of the mechanical thumb blades with a hardox 1/4'' in the middle? each ar about $120. maybe you can come up with a better idea for a ripper blade for loader?
@SpicerDesignsLLC you're tractor, you do you. But eventually, doing things like this will definitely tweak your loader. At least destroy the chevrolet, lol. All in all, I don't want to see this happen to you
I actually bought a blank quick attach plate to build my own stump bucket. I just haven’t got to that project yet. But yes, I totally agree that would be the right tool for the job. Thanks for the suggestion.

Thank you! Unfortunately i have to choose from copyright free music but theres still some good stuff.
This guy is funny as hell
I knew before you started it wouldn't pull out easy. I've done this several times with my 26 HP John Deere diesel.
Ya i had a feeling it wouldnt be that easy. Amazing how strong those roots are

That's the number one reason I don't think I'd buy a cab tractor. I'd be breaking glass to often.

I have a Kioti ck2610. Love it 👍👍
Ive got a great upgrade going on it soon.
Any power issues when using a tiller or flail mower? Do you think the 18 HP at the PTO is enough?
No issues tilling or using the rotary cutter. The 2610 is actually a detuned 3510. Theres a video of a guy turning the tune back up to 35hp.

You should set up a retaining wall in the future. Funny video, that bush did need to go.
I plan on doing a rock wall on that side in place of the bushes. Should look a ton better.

why not use the actual bucket to lift fhe shrub? works with my 20hp mahyndra
That bush was basically a small tree planted in clay. The roots needed to be broken up. That tractor has 1800lb loft cap. Not enough.

It does very well. We have some hills now on the new property and it has no issues. I have the ac on at all times even winter.
Big bushes might have been ok in the 60s and 70s but not in 2023. LOL

The weight means more than the hp. But yea no one wants a big bush on the laneway, at most a small strip of landscaping

That thing wasnt budging. Bucket curl did help busting up the roots though.
Its not all about hp,fill your tires up with rim guard and it'll add 200lbs in each wheel then see what happens. Its all about traction..
