- Elgin is a very old city a lot of it needs updating but having said that there are lovely places to visit like the museum and the cathedral of which this video highlights. I found the people of Elgin very helpful and around the Moray Coast area.

The font you described in your video is the remains of the old jail.. during pedestrian of the high street. Remains where found on that location.. I seen it for myself.. Am from Elgin..

In fact there was a body still in the cell.. archaeology people where there for days scrapping away.. but you could walk past a look into the jail/grave..
Did you visit Plusgarden Abbey, where the Monks are.. only few miles out of Elgin
