Once you get this, it’s a good idea to get physical therapy afterwards so the muscles in your back and core can stabilize the spine

It can’t be explained because the effects in has on the low back are minimal
My guess is that it temporarily alleviates disc compression and improves blood flow which results in a rush of emotions.
