I was driving and listening to one of your videos earlier today so I couldn’t comment at the time and now I cannot remember whether or not it was this video, but whatever. You mentioned that you are always looking for fragrances that smell like a forest and I’ve got a recommendation for you. Tiziana Terenzi Ecstasy reminds me of a Pacific Northwestern forest. It’s got spruce, pine, woods, pebble and soil notes, among other things. It’s evocative and meditative and just stunningly gorgeous. If you don’t already know it, I think you might like it.

Most of these gems I have never heard of🤩🤩👌👌. My hidden gems are definitely Afnan Ornament, Valentino Myrrh Assoluto and Maison Dior Patchouli Imperial😍😍. I will have to look up that Arquiste one, hopefully I can get a sample. I have a sample of Barkhane from Teo Cabanel, I like it but on me it smells quite masculine. I wish I could get Masai Mara, it’s one of the two that is not available this side🇿🇦. Rooibos tea is my favourite since I don’t like black tea😍😍. I’ve enjoyed this video🙏🙏. Stay gorgeous🥰🥰
Maison Dior Patchouli Imperial? How have I not heard of this one????? I love the house of Dior! I will mention some ppl might think Barkhane is masculine leaning. Great video, so many lovely sounding ones in here 🥰 Can’t wait for part 2! 😃 I looked up Istanbul and the “reminds me of” section mentioned This is him, desert marocain, coromandel, grand soir, and Ani (and many more as well, these are just the ones I’m most familiar with) do you think any of these are similar?
Put it this way…..Istanbul and LDDM are both “ambers”. That is where the similarity ends. Only deep into the dry down of LDDM does it come close to Istanbul. Ani? I don’t think so. Grand Soir? I don’t currently have Grand Soir but I had a sample a few years ago. I need to get a small travel of that. And it is not similar to Coromandel other than there is a similar Amber accord in Coromandel.

On the other hand that site is so helpful for people like me who aren’t necessarily able to pick out each note and instead go by the general vibe - If they had said it reminded them of Versense and Citron Fig and Chance eau fraiche , well *then* I would know they were WAY off! 😂😂😂 Thank you for the descriptions! If you are market for or just wishing to try another coffee fragrance I would highly recommend SM Cafe by Strangers Perfumerie. It's one of the best coffee fragrances I've come across. Two more from this same house but with different aromas are: (Sangria Wine scent) Sangre Dolce, (Tobacco) Cigar Rum. All these from the line can be purchased around $80.

Hi Christina!!! Did I know you live in Austin? I went to The University of Texas! My Alma mater ! The store Is called Kuhl Lipscomb! And currently the only place where Misfit is in stock (at least a few months ago). They also have this lotion and product from the famous spa in New Mexico (10,000 Waves Spa) you can’t find anywhere else. It’s basically all niche fragrances so it’s not a place to browse designers but it’s in the swanky part of Houston near River Oaks so you can shop around in the area. Tell Asher I said “hi”! He’s so sweet! 🥰❤️

I bought my Guerlain Angeluque Noir in 2019 and they gave me a sample of Gourmand Quaquin and I used it all up but I’ll never forget that is so delicious. You’ve talked about it in your other videos so if I comment on perfumes not in these videos I apologize it’s just that I remember lots of perfumes that you mention. Right now I want to get Ariana Grandes new perfume called Mod Vanilla, girl it smells so similar to MFK Gentle Fluidity Gold but better. I have an Ulta near me and I go in there all the time to try it and have tried it 4 times and am getting close to biting the bullet LOL. IT takes me forever to buy perfumes because some of them change too much on my skin. The other one I’m really liking is ILLISH that one smells like Tom Ford perfume would smell like. Very different and on clothes it’s yummy. I hope you find great scents when you come down here so you can make more great videos. 😁❤️😁

You must have been on Fragrantica. I used to look at those but 95% of the time I was like “what?! That smells nothing like so and so”! 😂

The best ambrette musk IMO is in Milky Musk. But you have to like that wood chip scent (sandalwood).

If you are market for or just wishing to try another coffee fragrance I would highly recommend SM Cafe by Strangers Perfumerie. It's one of the best coffee fragrances I've come across. Two more from this same house but with different aromas are: (Sangria Wine scent) Sangre Dolce, (Tobacco) Cigar Rum. All these from the line can be purchased around $80.

Misfit is gorgeous! I have a little decant of it - it warms up on the skin and is so addictive. I want to try more from the line but they aren’t sold in my area so it’s hard to get samples.

Hi Christina!!! Did I know you live in Austin? I went to The University of Texas! My Alma mater ! The store Is called Kuhl Lipscomb! And currently the only place where Misfit is in stock (at least a few months ago). They also have this lotion and product from the famous spa in New Mexico (10,000 Waves Spa) you can’t find anywhere else. It’s basically all niche fragrances so it’s not a place to browse designers but it’s in the swanky part of Houston near River Oaks so you can shop around in the area. Tell Asher I said “hi”! He’s so sweet! 🥰❤️

I bought my Guerlain Angeluque Noir in 2019 and they gave me a sample of Gourmand Quaquin and I used it all up but I’ll never forget that is so delicious. You’ve talked about it in your other videos so if I comment on perfumes not in these videos I apologize it’s just that I remember lots of perfumes that you mention. Right now I want to get Ariana Grandes new perfume called Mod Vanilla, girl it smells so similar to MFK Gentle Fluidity Gold but better. I have an Ulta near me and I go in there all the time to try it and have tried it 4 times and am getting close to biting the bullet LOL. IT takes me forever to buy perfumes because some of them change too much on my skin. The other one I’m really liking is ILLISH that one smells like Tom Ford perfume would smell like. Very different and on clothes it’s yummy. I hope you find great scents when you come down here so you can make more great videos. 😁❤️😁
