I'm thinking, in the Beast, why did Dazai take Gin, but not Aku to the PM. Some people might say that is because Dazai thinks that Aku isn't strong, or because he don't like him. But I think that is because Dazai didn't wanted to abuse Aku again and only took Gin because it would be good for the PM (he is the boss, he need to make the best decisions for his organization)

So since Aku is not with Dazai in beast the best way for Aku to live for is for his sister. Akutagawa is a very self sabotaging person he needs clear goals without which he will self destruct himself. Beast Dazai gave Beast Aku a reason to live just like how his counterpart did.
