- In this episode of the Joe Dunnrite Show, Joe critiques the Hyper Tough Walmart Brand weed wacker. For $80, see what Joe has to say! You want it DONE RIGHT, watch Joe Dunnrite!
The newest model I can’t complain broke it in only half throttle for the first day and the second day I really put it too the test I own a lawn care business and it competes with my murayama b27 weed-eater ($360 trimmer by the way)as of rn it went and weedeated thick I mean thick weeds and I did this for 14 hours straight and had no problems at all started right up every single lawn I did
Believe it or not! I use my $68 Hyper tough for almost 3 years now & still working good! Never have problem! Better than $189 craftsman es 2200 brand new use for 2 days & won’t start soo i took it back Lowe’s! Reason why i buy the Craftsman is i need edger!
I had to adjust the carb on my new craftsman 25cc that a bought a few months ago and after, it's flawless! Just sucks I had to do that..
About to buy one of these weed eaters very soon, great video and info thanks for taking the time.
I just bought several of these, in the straight shaft version, for family members and myself, brand new on clearance for only $20 each! I’m looking forward firing up mine for this weekend’s yard work.😉
Done the same. Caught them at the local Walmart on clearance for 37 each for the straight shaft style. The curved shaft was 30 each.
that caucasian gal who has a channel and fixes whackers recommends emptying out the tank and gas lines AFTER use, then..when you want to restart, add gas! also a coworker highly recommends using (if available) NON ethanol unleaded gas....and the oil mix..... something about the plain unleaded clogs up and makes motors run bad.
How do you replace or take the bump head off a hyper tough weed eater?
The price went up, I had it, ethanal is the enemy. I took the carb apart and was not able to put it back together. Purchased the 4 cycle version to try out
if you have the model number and part number, order it online and go on YT to see if anyone has a vid to how to remove/replace it....thats how I did mines!
Running them bone dy for the winter is a must. Also , after running dry. Take plug out ant put a few drops of fuel mix oil. Then give a few pulls on cord. Does wonders for them
you have to watch out when taking out the plug, my ryobi has a boot that is sensitive when just "pulling out" the plug....the wire connection CAN be dislogged.
How did you remove the bump head?
Right above the head is too flat spots put a big crescent wrench on it then break loose just like a regular boat
too bad you got the curved head without the middle section.....I always configure my attachments with an aluminum head that can accept 1 or 2 strings and the diameter line is around .130. cuts down brush like nuts!
Nice presentation; thank you for the information. I like what you like about it, but I took my bump head apart and now can't get it to work again, so how do you change these out? I see no hex or other key on the spinning base of the head, and I'm a little perplexed. Any insights would be appreciated.
How did you get that bumper head off ?
Bought this same one last year. Have not had 1 issue with it and sat all winter and started on 3 pulls. Not a bad budget buy
Only used mine 1x
Very nice video... Keep it up!
Do you have vid how to remove trimmer head?
I can’t find one for my H2510. Sad
OK, but someone really needs to make an electric start or drill start version. I hate pull cord anything.
repairing the pull cord on this unit will be an undertaking.
That’s why you definitely do not buy one of these with the recoil on the clutch/shaft side. Even some of the cheaper models have the recoil easily accessible on the back of the engine. Look for the words “full crank” on the box. I myself would spend the money on an Echo. I’m only on my second one in 25 years.
@@andybecker2693 yeah....but if we ALL can afford an ECHO $$$$$$$$$$$$$ :)
How did you remove the old head to replace
What kind OF HEAD did YOU say you bought, AND is it UNIVERSAL? WHAT I mean is, does IT fit all weed eaters, AND how do YOU thread it?
can the hyper tough be added a trimer
They are not $80 anymore.
hi,would you pay 93.00 for this with staraight shaft, and how long will it last,,???
I just bought one. It seems ok but haven't got to really use it yet.
Bought the straight version a year ago and it runs flawless. Overall impressed for the price it was. Even sitting all winter with gas and starting this year, it only took 3 pulls and fired right up
Update: spend the extra money and go to Lowes and get the 25cc straight shaft craftsman. It's sooo much better and can use attachments if you have/need them.
@@sicsam1 The Craftsmen is fckn junk , bet yours done blew up !
your lawn is a weed central
well it is 45 acres all organic so we dont spray so yep weeds.
@@thejoedunnriteshow3224 On the old weed Wacker replace the spark plug and it’ll start but make sure the carburetor is working
