2018 Dodge Charger Rear Door Won't Open after the handle has been removed and the door is closed.
In this episode of The Joe Dunnrite Show, Joe solves the mystery of the how to open the rear door of the Dodge Charger without removing the panel. Joe and his buddy Danny were putting a wrap on the 2018 Dodge Charger. Typically you remove the door handles but when you do that and you shut to rear door, the door won't open from the inside because of the Kiddy Lock mechanism and trying to put the handle back on won't work either. Other sites say the only way to open the door is to remove the door panel which damages the panel beyond repair if you try to remove it from the inside with the door closed. Joe solves this by using the secret tab on the outside of the door where the handle goes. It's easy, just remove the tab with a snip tool and insert a nail puller tool to push the cable free, then grab the cable with forceps and pull the cable to open the door. You can also just reach inside with the forceps and grab the cable and pull it. No need to remove the rear seat or damage the panel to get to the cable from the inside of the car. Joe believes the secret tab was put there for this exact reason to be used by the dealership, but they won't tell you that. What causes this is when you remove the outside door handle using the bolt on the jam side of the door, a part of the sheet metal inside impedes the lever from fully opening after you remove the handle. You want it done right, what Joe Dunnrite!

that caucasian gal who has a channel and fixes whackers recommends emptying out the tank and gas lines AFTER use, then..when you want to restart, add gas! also a coworker highly recommends using (if available) NON ethanol unleaded gas....and the oil mix..... something about the plain unleaded clogs up and makes motors run bad.

Honestly, even as a mechanic, you’re not gonna do compression test every single day but he will do more than the DIY guy and if you treat the stool right you don’t throw it around you keep it and it’s case you keep it in a dry area where the temperature is in getting way too cold or extremely too hot then it should last you a solid few years if not more and if it breaks you can just take it back to Harbor freight and get another one

Finding that kit is rare, been out of production for many years. When new that kit was rare & pricey. The 028 had that same set-up. The early 038 was 61cc, the super 67cc & the mag 2 72cc. Those were introduced around 1980.
