    How’s it going? Great video.
I also have a 2.5” receiver. I was curious what hitch pin (with thread) did you use that was long enough for a 2.5” hitch/receiver.?

      Hi There,
We used the locking hitch pin that is included with the Yakima OnRamp!
      Cheers,

Good quick review. I'm looking at this bike rack to fit 2" receiver on my Lexus RX-0330. I also have two Pedego Boomerang low step thru bikes of unusual design. I really like the ramp to get the bike on the rack as we are 70+ years young and it would be a challenge to get the bikes on a normal rack. Question is will the clamping system on this rack work with these bikes? We like the Thule Easyfold but it is very expensive compared to this.

Sorry for the late reply. If you can send a picture of your bike to info@modularacks.com and we'll have our technicians have a peek to see if we think this rack will work with your bike.

@@ModulaRacks Thanks. Just purchased Thule Easyfold XT and it works great. Keep up the good work.

What do you recommend for carrying a Gazelle c380 and a Townie Go ebike on a Honda Accord Hybrid? I'm leaning toward the Yakima OnRamp largely because of the ability to clamp onto the bike post without requiring a crossbar adapter or requiring clamping onto the tires where the fender is in the way. The ramp is nice too. Many of the racks don't look like they would work well on a step-through bike with fenders, but this one and the Thule Easyfold look like they would, although this one is much cheaper. Also, since I don't yet have a hitch on my car, do you recommend that I go with a 2 inch, class 3 hitch for extra stability or doesn't it matter very much? Thanks

Hi Dale, are correct with your thoughts on both the Easyfold and the OnRamp. You will require a rack such as these when you have a step through bike with fenders such as the ones you have mentioned herein. We always suggest going with the strongest hitch available for your vehicle when mounting a bike rack as a rack is considered an "un-supported load". This means that this puts far more down force on the hitch as compared to something such as a trailer. Lighter duty hitches such as class 1's often state that this is not allowed. Hope this helps and thanks for watching. Sincerely, The Modula Team
