Hopefully, this Sunday 👍 It’s all been a bit crazy after Christmas but I’m catching up 👍

This looks insanely good. I can't wait to see more of this build, the price though is eye watering.
I was wondering what the lego timber is called ?

They’re just called cabin kits or log cabins in the UK, we aim to get a video out every Thursday, but I do all of the editing myself and work 50 hour weeks so sometimes it’s not always possible 👍
There’s a lot more to come on this build including all of the internals so I look forward to that, hopefully see you on the next video!

Is there anything I could have done to improve that ? Thankyou !

@@allthingsgardenbuildings Honestly no, like I get the contours, just don't know much about building so I'm googling stuff. But its cool to see someone who's like expert at their craft do their thing 😂

@ I love feedback, so I think the next video I’ll try and explain more with visuals if I can, or some infographics , I’m glad you enjoyed it, there’s always room to improve on my end so hopefully I see you in the next video and you can let me know how I did 😀
      UA-cam is a journey I’m still travelling 👍

That's pretty inefficient. Sorting, notching, screwing brackets on, then finally attaching to wall. You sure like to handle your timber alot.
Also all that timber creates thermal bridges, defeats the purpose of external insulation being a continuous blanket over the structure.
Best way is to screw on overlapping rigid insulation, then further secure it with a rainscreen strapping.
I seen similar methods to yours, but they use I-joists or larson trusses and dense packed cellulose. Skinner/less thermal bridges and easier to attach.
Last, treat those treated sill plates you cut.

This is going to having insulation, then VCL then 25mm battens, to create an air gap behind 22mm cladding board to control any moisture
I get what you’re saying about thermal bridging and of course there’s a million ways to do things, but this has all been signed off by BC who’ve gone through the whole spec and this is what it is , I’m just the one building what I’ve been given , albeit there probably is a lesson to be learned here and I’ll take it on board. Thanks for watching
